  1. People think that weight loss surgery is easy. Well from what I can gather easy does not describe it. First you have to make a decision that will be life changing. Then you have to drink protein shakes 2 weeks before you have this life changing surgery. Then you have to do liquids, soft foods, and so on. It is not like you have surgery and bam it is over. This is a tool and only that. Ladies hold your head up announce it to the world and know that it was a long hard road to get here.
  2. I am pre op. I am telling everyone that I am close to and work with that I am preparing to have the sleeve. I work at an elementary school and things go through the school like crazy. I am not ashamed. I know everyone is different but I see nothing wrong with having this done. If i did I might re-think it. But one thing is right. It is ones own choice and it is nobody's business.
  3. You look happy which is the most important of all.
  4. Good luck to all of you. I am still doing the hoop jumping. I have to have 7 weigh ins and I am on 4. I am watching all of you and pulling for you.
  5. You look great and so much younger. Keep up the good work.
  6. Congratulations!
  7. Thank you all for your input. I have researched all of this also and I feel the same way. Why would you want to do more than you have to. I am new to all of this and you all seem to have so much knowledge. Thank you so much.
  8. Thank Jesus for your angel. Glad you are ok.
  9. I am trying to decide between a sleeve and the bypass. For me my Dr. is suggesting the sleeve. I have to be on predisone for an unknown length of time. I have a problem with my muscles. Everyone I know has chosen the bypass with great results. Can you tell me why you would recommend the sleeve over bypass. Anxiously waiting....
  10. Coming from someone who hasn't had surgery yet this is scary. I am such a comfort eater.
