  1. Congratulations! Best of luck to you both! I still can't believe I actually had it done. I LOVE it!
  2. This is one thing that I am struggling with the most! Will I ever get used to it? I try not do drink but then I am just so thirsty I resort to sipping a bit, and I end up paying dearly for it. When will I learn
  3. LOL you ladies are funny! Thanks for all of the replies....it really helps!
  4. So funny! lol
  5. I LOVE you people! Of course I'm 'emotional' right now, so I might just really 'like' you
  6. I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear this! Not for your sake of course, but I thought for sure maybe I had done something to stretch my tummy out and now my new curse will be hunger for a lifetime! Thank you ladies for giving me hope that this will pass
  7. Does your hunger increase when 'Aunt Flow' comes to town for her monthly visit? I feel SO hungry right now
  8. I don't have a problem at all with Water. I can drink that much in a matter of minutes I would say.
  9. I am EXACTLY the same way....down to the sneezing! What is that all about?! lol. I will have to try Cashews.
  10. I am wondering what everyone eats to feel the most satisfied. By that I mean which foods do you find fill you up and keep you feeling satisfied for long periods of time? Also, do you find that drinking water 1/2 hour or so after eating flushes foods out of your stomach, leaving you hungry again? I am trying to gauge when to drink my liquids
  11. Too thick! I have been trying to get mine down for the past hour and just had to Water it down a tad bit. But it's still SO good!
  12. I am SO excited! I took my vanilla Protein shake, added almost a full scoop of Nestle's unsweetened cocoa, milk and 1/4 of a banana. It's SO good! It's probably a staple in these parts and been posted again and again, so if so I apologize, but this is great!
  13. Sleeved 6/26/13 SW-230 CW-204 5'5"
  14. I told my parents 'after' the surgery
  15. That's so awesome! Totally made me smile!
  16. Jesus, drop the hostility...re-read it, I never said that the sleeve has changed me completely, nor am I stupid enough to think it cures me or anyone else. Not sure why you seem so pissed, but there is NO need for that!
  17. It happened! It happened! The scale moved 2.5 lbs lost!!! OMG there IS hope you guys! I thought for sure I was stuck at 21 lbs and had been for almost 2 weeks! Keep at it! Don't give up! I am SO excited! If it happened for me, it WILL happen for you! I was laying in bed this morning (Admin Secretary for a k-8 school, so still on vacation) reading your posts and dreading getting up and getting on the scale. But after hitting the restroom (because I must be completely void of every ounce before I weigh) I reluctantly climbed on. And I was shocked! Hang in there ladies, your time is near!
  18. Hahahahaha! I think the exact same thing! I feel like I will never lose another pound and I did all of this for 21lbs?! So not worth it! lol When was your surgery? Mine was June 26th and at exactly my 2 week mark I stopped losing. It has been 11 days for me
  19. I am pretty sure my calories are too low. I get in my fluids without any problem, and I rarely have anything with carbs. I am not quite at the level of protein I should be at though.
  20. Mine began after I had completed my second week post op. Now approaching my 1 month mark and STILL in a stall! It's just starting to piss me off now. As far as getting past it, did most of you change what you were doing, or just ride it out?
  21. This probably isn't a great thing for me to tell you, but at the time I book my surgery, they were able to get me in 5 days later. I cut back on some things, but I really didn't do much of a pre-op diet. Nothing to eat or drink though past 10pm the night before and I was all good. No complications and am feeling great and will be 3 weeks out tomorrow. I wouldn't recommend doing what I did and I am being a VERY good girl post op
  22. I am SO afraid of that. But if you are exercising, maybe you are gaining muscle which weighs more than the fat you are losing. Have you taken your measurements? How are you clothes fitting?
  23. I can not say 'Thank You' enough to all of the posters who have posted about the 3 week stall. I will be 3 weeks post-op in 2 days and about 5 days ago my body put the brakes on! I lost 21 quick lbs in the first 2 weeks, then low and behold....nothing. zip. zilch. I am a very 'instant gratification' kind of gal and I KNOW had I not read all of your posts about the dreaded 3WS that my attitude would be in the crapper! Instead, I feel pretty darn normal and since I half expected this, I am OK with it! Besides, inches are still coming off So, a huge THANK YOU to everyone for sharing their personal journeys, successes and struggles. It helps so much! Now, when will I start losing again???
