4week follow up- starting weight 296, now 265. I'm getting really bored with food I'm eating. Soup goes down much easier but i want something different but soft foods kinda bothers me.

Surg was 9/23) had a stall for a few days. But I stepped on some scales and it had gone down more. Not sure how accurate they are so I'm not getting excited about the amount but I am happy it is down.

The different requirements of protein. I have to get 80-100gm per day.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that gained. I was so embarrassed. Today is my 2week mark.

I'm 2weeks out and I had a gain too. With no explanation. I've been on full liquid diet. It's embarrassing.

Did anyone go up in weight? I lost 20lb but I gained back a little. Not much but I didn't expect that at all. How could it be on this diet and barely eating. My surgery was sep 23

It's will hurt some when you wake up but not too bad. Get up as soon as they let you and walk as much as you can stand. It really does help. I was really sleepy for the first 24 hours.

Surgery went good. My soreness is slowly going away. Still on clear liquids and very ready for the next phase even though it is still liquid. I'm very happy I did this. From pre op diet til the 26, I'm down 14lb. I don't have a scales at home, so I'm looking forward to going to Dr Wednesday

Hello, I'm from the US. My surgery was 9/23. From my surgery consult on the 17th until the 26th, I had lost 14 pounds. I don't have a scales at home so I don't know how much more I have lost. I go back to Dr this Wednesday, so Im excited to see. Dr still has me on clear liquids. Next will be full liquid. I'm doing pretty good with my protein but having trouble with water.

Hello, I guess I will post something finally. Lol My surgery was the 23 too. There was expected pain. Only got sick once, got in a hurry with my jello. Had some trouble doing that breathing thing and didn't help that my allergies decided to get crazy right before surg day. Tonight I got to meet the guy that gave my mom the info for my surgery. It was great talking to him. He's not even a year out and has lost over 200 pounds. He is now 272lb. AMAZING!

Well I'm in surg prep waiting. Wish they would hurry up!

Good morning! Today we start our new journey, a very positive one. Prayers for us all. I have to be at the hospital at 1pm (still nothing to eat after midnight) Good luck everyone. I will keep you posted.

I'm on 23 too. I'm very excited to get this over. I'm on an Atkins type diet til Sunday, then clear liquids. My surgery isn't until 1:00pm Monday. So I'm going to work that morning. I'm in Ky

Hello, mine is this Monday (9-23).

This is when I will have my sleeve surgery. I'm excited and nervous too. Can anybody let me know what to expect right after or have tips to make it easier.
