  1. Surgery 6/26/13 HW 328 SW 308 CW 256 72lbs! I'll take it! It's has been frustrating not being able to get back in the gym. I've been battling low potassium levels on and off since surgery. Doc says no pushing my heart till it's up or my heart can go start beating irregular.
  2. I wish I could have done it successfully without surgery but I just didn't have the strength. I knew I needed this tool to help me be come the person I've always knew I could be. I'd love to loose 125lbs although they say I could loose over 175lbs. I'm already 55lbs down and today is my 2 months exactly. I have a hard time seeing the changes physically. I feel like the scale isn't going down as I'd like at least not fast enough. I know I've lost a ton of inches. It's definitely the best decision that I could ever make for me!

  5. I'm doing terrific.. Dr Ganser with Western Bariatric is fabulous! I had to do a 4 week pre-op liquid diet. Thought I was going to die! Did have some cheating during that month but nothing to drastic. Lol. I managed to lose 20lbs during that time. Since surgery I've lost an additional 35lbs. It has definitely been an eye opening experience. It's true though that each day that passes things do become easier and you feel soooo much better. It's been hard at times trying to figure out your new tummy. I think that's been he hardest thing for me. Learning how much your body will allow and how to recognize when you've had enough and ect. I've just got my gym membership. That's been interesting so far. Luckily the people I've encountered at the gym are very supportive. I'm not one to sweat with an audience. Lol.

  20. Mine was the 26th too. I'm still sitting here stalled. Going on 2 weeks now. I'm sure a lot has to do with not getting enough Protein. I'm really going to push hard to hit the protein goal this week. Hopefully it will get the scale going in the right direction again.
  21. Okay this is an odd one but on Wednesday I will be 3 weeks post op. I've been doing great no complications and feel wonderful. The last few days I have been craving pickles. I did start my vitamins a week ago. I tend to have chronic low sodium (not a big salt user) and I know my potassium was low at surgery. I'm thinking this is my bodies way of adapting? Has anyone else experienced this?

  23. I was sleeved yesterday!!! Very excited all went well they even fixed my hiatal hernia. I am now 24 hours from surgery relaxing in the comforts of my own bed at home. I have only minor discomfort from the hernia repair. I feel very blessed and thankful!
