  10. So... Getting anxious and nervous about surgery Tuesday, but keeping a positive attitude :-) I look back at when I got the sleeve and I remember afterwards I laughed at myself for being as anxious and nervous as I was because it was not nearly as bad as I expected. This just makes me more nervous I guess because it's not a surgery that's done everyday and it just makes me nervous as hell. Just the sound of what they are doing gets me so...ugh nervous! Just needed to vent, sorry lol.
  11. Jamie, we have same surgery date! I was sleeved five months ago and am going in for revision. You will do great! Keep a positive frame of mind! Anxiousness is expected but after I think you will be relieved to know it's better then you expected :-)
  12. We are answering the questions based on our knowledge and from what we may have experienced or heard from our doctors, just as every other forum.
  13. Arm compression sleeves? If so, Spanx is a good product, but there are many similar compression arm sleeves a lot cheaper that work just as good. Groupon.com just had some.
  14. Your doing great Betsy! Your nutritionist is right, your doing great and purpose is to shrink the liver. The more you follow it the less discomfort you are to have on the left side after surgery. Keep up the good work! Doing great! Look forward to updates after your surgery :-)
  15. Prior to my surgery I LOVED Premier Protein, after I despised them, my taste buds totally changed! Now post op I get EAS and they have some great flavors. They come in four packs and I personally choose the Stawberry Cream as my first choice and second choice is Cafe Caramel. Hope you find one you like! Don't stock up to much as your taste buds MAY change. Wishing you best of luck!!
  16. They are crap! That's my opinion lol. I am post op, but a male so I wouldn't obviously wear them lol. But I got them for two of my friends who are post op (got them from Boscovs, they sell the same ones there), and it was a disappointment. Hope you find something to make you feel more comfortable!
  17. Loveit2012 you are going to do great!! It's totally normal to feel how you feel so close to surgery date! When I was sleeved five months ago I was an anxious wreck! Lol. When it was all said and done with I said to myself 'I worked myself all up for that!'. You made a great choice! Best wishes for a speedy recovery for you! :-)
  18. How did surgery go? How are you feeling?
  19. So close! Less then a week away! Wishing you the best!
