My doctor said no alcohol ever - he said with the sleeve sx, alcohol is very corrosive to the new surgical line and could lead to ulcers if not leaks.

Sounds like you are doing great - I can't wait to be on the other side watching the numbers going down. Are you children supportive - I have a 13 yo and she is only concerned about herself. When I had my pre-op last Friday, she was so bored and just appeared exhausted by the time it took. But, you be proud of yourself and your accomplishments.

I heard several people in my support class say that the water put on temporary weight that will come off in 2 to 3 days.

Something I do when I get my bp taken - is that I meditate (close my eyes and think peaceful thoughts and go to whatever place that makes me feel calm) - it always works. Also, call your pcp and ask if you can take an additional 10 mg of lisinopril?

Sorry you are miserable - press the button for pain meds and go to sleep. Can you get some ear plugs from anyone? They work magic. You'll be home soon and in your own comfy bed.

HI OUT THERE - I JUST SPOKE WITH THE PRE-ADMIT RN AND SHE SAYS I WILL BE COMING IN FOR A FITTING FOR THE BINDER I WILL BE WEARING AFTER SURGERY. I'VE READ QUITE A BIT ABOUT PEOPLE HAVE SMALL PILLOWS FOR HOLDING AGAINST THEIR ABDOMEN, BUT NO WORD OF A BINDER. IF ANYONE HAS HAD THIS EXPERIENCE CAN YOU COMMENT? THANKS.
