I have been on a weight roller coaster since the early 80's. I have lost more than 100 lbs twice only to gain it back. I am looking forward to my verticle sleeve. I do not have a date yet for surgery but was approved yesterday. I should get my date next week. I am looking forward to meeting others in my area to have a suport system. I have one suport friend but will be looking for others as well. I am also looking for a great suport group in the Dallas or East of Dallas area. If that is you I am looking to chat with you. :mellow: I realize this will be a lifestyle change and I am totally ready for it. Can not wait to get started even though I am just a little bit scared.

I am married and in my late 50's. I work for a CPA firm and am looking forward to retirement. I have 5 grandchildren. I love to read, shop, swim and going to the movies.
