  1. I have been stalling for a month and a half at least. Lost track! This seems to be a trend..... We all need to hang in there and ride out the storm....clearer days ahead
  2. Yay! I'm happy for you skinny!!
  3. Congrats! you inspire me to stay on target! the ice and snow not to mention the bitter cold has limited my range also....come on spring! For the first time I have to agree on come on Spring! I always loved the winter but without the extra insulation on my body I got cold. Yes it's been cold out this year but I've never got cold until now, I went out and bought a kerosine heater to cut down on the electric and add more heat in the living room. 2 years ago if some said to me I'd be sitting in the living room at 85° I would of laughed. But I like the new me better... Lol
  4. Well got on the scale today and i finely broke the 270 lb mark it was just a .8lb loss but I will take it! I been stuck at 270+ for a month (forever for me) now, hopefully it will start coming off more so I can hit my goal 29.4lbs more to lose. I been walking long speed walks from 3-4 miles 4 x a week weather permitting, cold doesn't bother me but iced up roads and sidewalks does, but i still get out and walk but at a slower pace and not as far but a longer time. The big part is keeping standing up, you seem to work your core more trying to keep your balance . Every one of you are a inspiration to me and Thankyou for your post.
  5. its getting better everyday, haven't hit my goal yet but I'm thankful from what I have done so far my Daughter is just amazed that how much active I'am now

I like to go for walks anywhere from 30min to 60 min and I go for bike rides 10-30 miles weather permitting . I have so much energy now that I have to release it somehow. Thankyou for your kind words. You will do it just day by day. Good luck to you

  15. Well good-luck to everyone above and they way it sounds you have been doing fantastic so far! Remember it's not a race, as much as it is a life time commitment, I'm aiming on 240 lbs, weighed out today at 274.4. Thats 136.6lbs of loss, at 6'6 I'm hearing now that i look great now not to lose no more but let's see how it goes.
  16. Yeah thats what i keep hearing weighing once a week , but I get on the scale every 3 days to keep myself in check, it just lets me have peace of mind and to get out and walk or ride the bike more.....

  18. I hope everyone a "Happy New Year". I had a great time seeing my daughter in Chicago over Christmas. I tried to eat right, but I did take a bite here and there and never kept track or measured my food it was a guess. So this morning my heart sank when i seen the scale.. The Demon.. So I cringed my eyes and stood on the scale.. I heard the scale speak..... 277.6lbs.... Bam!. I broke the 280lbs barrier and 133.4 lbs total weight loss.. I'm just so delighted. I still have 40lbs to go for my goal weight but I can start to see it tangible to get there. My new best friend is my scale, i don't look at it as a DEMON no more!!!

I was in the video section and kept thinking "I know that face" then when you started to walk away I grabbed my fiancé's arm and said "OH MY GOD IT'S HIM!! Look at him! He's half gone!" I was going to catch up with you and say hi but you looked like you were on a mission lol you look fabulous!! Oh sweetie you should of said ((((((HELLO))))))) I would of loved to talk to you, I go there sometime to walk around, or shop or get my meds... Did I tell you I HATE Walmart cause they get all my money?.. Well anyway I hope things are good for you and you had a very Merry Christmas and please come to support group meetings we need help!! And Thankyou that was sweet for you to say!!
  25. I was just thinking how i was before I got sleeved about seeing scales at the Doctors office or Hospital weighing me. I was so shameful to get on one (about as much i hated to have my picture taken.) Even now that I haven't hit my goal weight yet, I'm not shy about stepping on the scale anymore, it's become my friend instead of a embarrassment to me... I got my Christmas present back in June with no regrets at all.. Merry Christmas everyone; I hope you feel as well as i do....peace
