yes,it will be self payed and i am aware that this is a big thing,that's why i am little scared.I am trying to loose weight until december,if i won't make it then i will go see a doctor for this surgery.I exercise 3 times a week and try to keep a diet,but it's hard.I am really confused right now,i don't know what to do.I am only 21,but i've lost a lot of years because i couldn't enjoy them.All i want is to be happy and this is a big part of my life.

in my country the insurance doesn't cover this kind of surgery so i will pay for it.here it costs 4000 $,so i need to know prices from other countries.hope to hear soon from u!

hi all,i've been trying to lose some weight these days,but i failed today,i feel horrible,i am diaspointed.I will keep trying until december,i have 5 more months.If i won't succed then i will have the pad band.How much did your surgery cost?I am not sure if a doc from my cuntry will agree to operate me,so i am thinking about going to another country.Keep well everyone!

hi Soulsis,i am considering to have this kind or surgery but i am scared of how it will look after.Do u have any pictures?How does it look now?Do u have scars?I've heard from a friend that the 5 incision will heal and it will leave no scar.Please help me and tell me how it looks now. Anyone else have a picture with her/him after the surgery?

hi Susanah,i though about what u said and i want to be honest,it is more simple,but do u think any surgeon will accept me?In december i will have the money i need for the surgery,if i had the money i would go right now,it's something i truly want and need.I will try to be honest with my surgeon,if he will reject me i will try another one and lie.U are right,i should be honest.Thanks a lot for your advice!

thanks everybody for your advices.my bmi is 28 at 80 kg(i don't know how many pounds),i am planing on having the surgery in december when i will probably gain some weight because of the food from the hollydays and i will tell my surgeon that i am on diet and that i've lost a few,that i was fatter,etc.basicly i will be telling many lies.my problem is serious,but usually surgeons don't understand the emotional impact,i am have an obssesion for 10 years,i need to loose 25 kg.i hope i will convince a surgeon,i will do my best and i will keep trying.

hi everyone,i have the same problem.my bmi is only 28,but i really want this operation,it's a depression i have for 10 years,it's the only way to get out.so i though about getting fatter and lying about my weight so the doctor will operate me.i know someone who did this and the doctor believed her,so it's the best i can do.i've some photos around here with the scarves and i was wondering how they look after 1 year or so.does anyone have photos with the scarves after some time?
