Question has anyone removed one or more of their dressings? Btw I haven't yet????

Hey guys got home last nite:) Dr.'s n nurses said everthing went perfect. I even walked over to my chair after surgery. But I didn't get a room till 8 hours after my procedure, I guess it paid off bc I got the best room on the floor all to myself☺ If i had to complain it would be how sore I still am from the incision in the right center of my chest I am assuming it's the on the "exit" hole. Also the last day at the hospital my right forearm was burning up, but my Dr. recommend a heat pack n take blood thinners. Other than that sippin on water n protein gelatin from the hospital. Yay!! Can't believe we have finally been sleeved!! Here's to start to brand new healthier life!!

I gotta report 2 the hospital @8:45am n the hospital is about 90 miles away, so I have to b outta my house at 6am☺

Totally normal???? I guess as it gets closer and closer to the surgery it become more real. My procedure is tomorrow n I'm nervous, anxious, and excited all at the same time, but I'm so ready to get my life back!!! Congrats and best of luck to you!!

OMG guys!!! It's tomorrow!!! I've managed to stay pretty up beat through out this whole process but, today I find myself really uptight and anxious. I know it's the nerves, I have a bunch of loose ends to tie and it really hitting me rn????

Omg guys it's our last weekend b4 our surgery! It's the home stretch now how's every1 doing???

Not yet but I have started putting things aside. Can u wear ur sports bra during surgery?? I kno dumb question right??? But it's gonna b so painful to put it on right after...eeek???? My surgeon said he normally makes 4 incision close to and right above the navel cuz I'm also concerned bout my bra situation. Im either thinking 18 hour or sports bra???

I know the suspense is killing me!!! So excited we r a week away!!!

The hospital just called me to set up an appointment for pre admission testing for this Thursday at 1pm. Has anyone had it done yet or is going to??? What can I expect??? Help??

I know right?!? There is a whole bunch us June 25th Sleevers☺ I'm down 3lbs since Friday!!! I have a long way to go, but hey it's little things that count!

That's close to where I had to drive down for my psych eval! I actually live about 90 miles away from the hospital bc of insurance purposes...ugh???? You gotta do, what ya gotta do!!????

Hey CCarterRN, My pre-op diet took a toll on me more mental then the actual hunger pain, it's funny how I caught an episode of The Dr. Oz Show and he had a special guest on that wrote a book about toxic hunger. The pain or "hunger" I was feeling was the body's way of releasing the toxins from the processed foods I was eating. So after my will was tested on Friday,(Breakfast which included a simple toasted buttered roll) everything else seemed like a breeze to me. This journey is so much more mental and now it feels real! I'm really excited bc having a date makes it real but the pre op dieting let's me know that it's game on!!

Don't I'm super nervous too!! Started pre op Friday down 3lbs ???? woohoo!!
