  1. Hi Tammy, I am from Florida, I went to the store today and bought some of the isopure that I have heard others talk about on this site and also some additional protein shake powder to try another brand/flavor. Will let you know how it goes. I start my pre-op diet on Wednesday!
  2. Hi Lou, Thanks for responding, yes Sanford is only about 30 minutes from me! Wow, you have done great! I am amazed that you are still on the site as it seems that people are most active in the deciding and waiting period but so nice of you to reach out. Well, I guess my biggest concern is #1, the pain after the surgery. I am a big baby and don't do pain well at all. I just hope it isn't too bad. Second I am afraid of having remorse and of not being successful. I think that if I was good at this, then I wouldn't be in this situation. I just hope I can stay positive and not get on a pity pot! Hope to hear more from you, any words of wisdom would be much appreciated. Roxanne
  3. Hang in there Aline, just curious, what meds did you have to stop? I take Celebrex for joint pain. The only thing I was told to stop was aspirin.
  4. Hi, I live in new Smyrna beach, travel to jax regularly as grandbabies are there. I will be having surgery on June 19th and would welcome any support! It is starting to feel real now.

  11. Thanks for responding. Congratulations! How are you doing? I am still trying to figure out how to even do this forum. I have no idea if I am responding just to you or if I am responding to everyone. I have Dr. Sebastien in Daytona Beach. Set for the 19th of June!

  14. Hi everyone, I had my endoscopy and figured while I was there I might as well do the colonoscopy that my PCP has been after me to get done. All went well, so another hoop jumped through! Got a little nervous just doing clear liquids for 1 day. Yikes!
