  1. As long as you stick to what your Dr tells you,you'll be fine and you will lose!...it will be tough at first but you will get used to it about 3 weeks out...do it!..IM glad I did
  2. Content...nothing I eat makes me d**k...in fact..I've never vomited since I had my surgery...does anyone else have a sleeve of steel? Lol
  3. Hello fellow sleevers! Just wanted to know if it was normal for nothing to make me sick...I mean I haven't gone as far as eating a double cheeseburger from McDonalds but nothing I've tried makes me sick...almost as if I didn't have the sleeve
  4. Anybody try boneless spare ribs from the Chinese restaurant yet?...and how soon after surgery?...I mean it's not fatty not does it have alot of sodium...just curious

  6. Hello fellow sleeves...just wanted to know what you guys are eating...im 2weeks post-op and all I've been eating is mashed potatoes,refried beans,tuna and chilli...really tired of it...any suggestions???
  7. Today was the first say of my mushy diet and I just had some refried beans...they we're delicious! Also try sugar free pudding
  8. Was sleeved on the 8th and im doing very well...better than I thought I would do actually...the only pain I have is in the incisions but when I take the meds that were prescribed im good as new in about 10 mins! Hope things get much better for you guys!

  10. Yes...the clear liquid pre OP diet really sucks...I thought it would be easy...boy was I wrong! I've never seen so many food commercials in my life, but jello has been a life saver for me
  11. Wow I didn't know methodist did that...my experience at St lukes was great...they made me feel very comfortable...my first choice was brookdale hospital but they made me like I was a bother to them so I switched...and im very happy with it

My food funeral ended yesterday and I miss it already...but I know it's for my own good...now I can't wait for Monday to get here lol...Lulu you mentioned coney island...so that leads me to believe you are in new York...so am I...where are you having your sleeve done? If you don't mind me asking...im going to St lukes...anyone else?

  14. Just got my date for July 8th...just wanted some advice As to what to prepare myself for before the surgery...this is my first time being in the hospital so im very nervous
