  1. Thanks for all of the support! What makes it worse for me is that at this time I'm wheel chair bound and well...moving quickly is not so easy!
  2. Hey folks, Just had a really bad bout of loose stools last night and I feel them coming back today and I'm 5 days post surgery. Do any of you ever take immodium to slow the stools down? Not sure if it's a good idea or not. Thanks, Brian
  3. I made it through the surgery! Got home last night and I'm taking it somewhat easy at home today. First day after surgery was a bit painful, but not as bad as I thought it might be. Had a hard time taking down pills and so on, but yesterday and today It's been easier to take things down. Question for past sleeved people, how did you get past the thoughts of missing the fun of sitting at a table for lunch or supper or missing that "fullness" of eating? I'm not really hungry at all (which helps) but just have that feeling that I'm missing out on conversations when others are eating. I'll just have to bring my Water bottle or half juice/water mix and join in I guess, right? Looking forward to hear from other June sleevers on how they're doing!? Brian
  4. Just joined this forum and I'm excited to have a good support forum to go to. I'm having my pre-op appt 5/29 and having surgery on 6.18! I'm quite nervous but ready to get this next chapter started in my life. My surgery is at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN
