  1. It's been a long few months (started my journey in May) and the day is finally here! Ill be heading to the hospital to check in in just a few minutes for my 12:30 surgery! I can't believe the day is here! I was not nervous at all these past few months or even weeks but this morning I'm quite shaky!
  2. Getting sleeved in approximately 11 hours!
  3. I followed my diet exactly for about the 1st week, but then it became too hard to keep up with in the order that they wanted (shake for breakfast, shake for lunch with oatmeal, etc etc) so I still stuck to the menu but switched up the times to better suit me and I actually lost more the second week!
  4. You can have mints as long as they are sugar free and you fully let them dissolve on your tongue.
  5. I would LOVE to meet some people around here! I'm in Cheektowaga also!
  6. I am from Buffalo as well! I am with Dr. Pham who works with the catholic health system (st joes & sisters). I am still waiting to get letter from both insurance companies ( I have 2 insurances and there was confusion between which was primary) so that has caused delay in getting a specific date so far. Hoping that these letters arrive soon so I can schedule! I am starting to get nervous as I go back to school in the beginning of October. Has anyone had Dr. Pham before? And also, I would LOVE you hear all your stories, tips, & any advice you can give to me! I'm 20 and haven't met or talked to anyone who has the sleeve!
