  1. Girl, There is no way you are hungry. It was hard for me too! I have grown up with food galore and now it is kinda weird. It smells so good but I am not hungry in the tummy, just mentally. As soon as you realize that, you got it licked. Are you eating Greek Yogurt or cottage cheese? The puree stage is not so bad, I eat alot of chicken salad and skip the veggie and just make sure I take my Vitamins. Hang in there, cause the day is gonna come when you are rocking that sleeve!!
  2. I know that when I came home from the hospital, all I wanted to do is sleep for two days. For the gas, use gas ex strips and lay on your back with your knees bent, not flat down. The best thing to do when you dont feel like sleeping anymore is: sip water, sip water, sip water. Then start to incorporate your protien shakes in, drink 4 ounces shake, drink 4 ounces water, drink 4 ounces shake, etc. This is something that you have to work at, so dont get all bent if it doesnt happen all at once.
  3. Ok girlie, lets talk about what you are eating!! The chicken is fine to eat, just make sure that it is moist. Chicken breast without skin has lots of protien!! The rice will swell when you eat it, try and stay away from the carbs. They are not our friend. But the yogurt is really good for you. The highest in Protein is the greek yogurt and that is of course on the menu!! I also eat cottage cheese and string cheese. Try making the baked ricotta cheese bake, the recipe is on here somewhere. You have to experiment or you will want to pull your hair out, been there done that.
  4. Hey I was sleeved the same day as you 5/15 and I am down 22 lbs I told you those mashed tators would rock your world. I am going to make the baked ricotta cheese for later Glad you are doing so well

  7. I take synthroid every day. I do not have a thyroid.

  12. I had my surgery on the 15th too. I think if you are feeling uncomfortable, you are drinking too much. How many ounces are you drinking an hour?
