  1. I was just sleeved on Thursday, so today is the first day on full liquds. I am seldom hungry yet either, but have found I can best tolerate warm things like hot chocolate protein mix, and chicken soup protein powder. The sweet and cold stuff just doesn't appeal. I guess we just have to force ourselves to sip, sip, sip. Good luck!
  2. I was so lucky. My doctor required a 2 week low-carb diet to shrink the liver to prepare for the laproscopic surgery. I don't understand the purpose of the liquid pre-op diet. But hang in there. You will be much less hungry after a couple of days, and start to focus more on the upcoming surgery and life thereafter as a healthy, happy person! I was sleeved 2 days ago and am feeling good so far!
  3. A nurse at the clinic suggested we break capsules in jello. Maybe that would help?
  4. Had the surgery June 6 also. Dr.Billing in Washington state. Everything is going great...I feel so lucky!
  5. Sleeved yesterday! What a positive experience. No nausea, no pain, exept some collarbone pain, which the pain meds took care of. Sipping water, tea and broth without any problems at all. I stayed overnight at the clinic because I have sleep apnea and use a cpap maching, and I was glad to be there. The nurses were wonderful. Back home today and starting on the next stge of this adventure. Don't stress too much, future sleevers. It's really not bad at all (so far, lol)
  6. Eeeek! Me too! I check in at 1 p.m. today. Hope you can all let us know how it's going as we start this big adventure together. Good luck to everyone!
  7. Yes...... I have found several websites with those and, along with swim shorts, I think that will be perfect. Many thanks to everyone who responded.
  8. Thank you all so much for your great ideas! I will check them out. Also I found some great swim shorts and shirts at coolibar.com that I think I might like for swimming and water aerobics.
  9. Hi, Has anyone lost a lot of weight after their sleeve, and found a swimsuit that covers upper arms and thighs? I love to swim and saw a lady at the pool recently with some kind of exercise wear in the pool, but didn't have a chance to ask her about it. Thanks!
