Hello. I am exactly one week pre op as of yesterday And yesterday it started with a headache and now I've been dry heaving and very weak. Am I dehydrated? I have a doctors appointment at 330 today, but should I just wait or call and see what he says? I am very uncomfortable and just wanna cry

Thank you everyone for your very kind words. This was my first surgery and wasnt expecting this much discomfort. Don't get me wrong could be worse. They have me on dalaudin? And now gave me Tylenol since that is what I'll go home with. my surgeon should be here by 5 and let me Know if I can go or not. I'm surprised by the switch of meds since one was making me Fall asleep and no pain and this really is just making the pain bearable. The drain is for fluid in my stomach or around my stomach? Not 100% sure. I've been doing okay with sipping on water and has a few spoonfuls of broth, they still ha w me on an Iv to hydrate me, just wish the pain was gone. thank you everyone again.

Going through a lot of mixed feelings, I am in a lot of pain. I'm supposed to go home from the hospital today, and it makes me nervous about the incision pain and that they've drained my bag about 4 times. I just wish the pain would go away I keep reminding myself pain is only weakness leaving the body and to keep on truckin. <3 feel free to send some some good vibes and support.

Hello friends! I am getting sleeves tomorrow and a hairdresser, was wondering if there are any hairdressers out there who have been sleeved and about how long they were out of work. I know it varies on person, but would love to hear what you have to say. I'm 23 and active and work in a very busy salon. as of now I am out two weeks and that depends on how I'm feeling. Thanks!

So it's finally here! My surgery is tomorrow! a bunch of mixed feelings but overall very excited! Are there any suggestions for what I should pack for my one night stay? also has anyone had to remove there acrylic nails? No one has said anything to me about it, the preadmission nurse even complimented them the other day! hello,everyone! My name is gab, 23 years old and am 69 days away from surgery! I have aetna and am having my surgery in New Jersey. I'm having a difficult time with finding a protein drink for meal replacement now, and am worried I won't have anything I like come after surgery. ( I'm very picky) I wish I weren't! I haven't dropped much weight the last two months, but my bmi and water intake have been improving one or two points and I am proud of that.
