    Hi! I made my decision in early April to have the procedure - gastric sleeve. I went to the seminar and decided to have it done as soon as possible. I was very excited and scheduled everything pre-op in one week. I went to my appointment with the surgeon today. Dr. Alfonso Torquati at Duke Hospital is going to be the surgeon. I am scheduled for 5/20 and so excited. I am diabetic and I have hypertension so I am so optimistic about the surgery and can't wait. I hope you decide to do it so you will be healthier!
