Fort Lauderdale here. Sleeved 11/18/13, down 53#.

I am still doing great. I had no problem with the liquid puree because the nutritionist told me I did not have to puree as long as I stuck to softer foods and chewed my food well. I am still having Protein shakes, but I am lucky that I like all of them. You will love your sleeve.

I had surgery with Dr.Wizman in November at Broward Health Coral Springs. I had the best experience with Dr. Wizman and the hospital. I went to my first support group and even though I. Am on Bariatric Pal everyday Dr. Wizman made several points I found very moyivating. I have lost 45 # and I am delighted with the entire process. In the hospital I was given a pain pump, however, I was in no pain, if I moved, it felt like I did too many sit ups. I cannot say enough positive about Dr. Wizman and his staff.

Pre-sleever in Fort Lauderdale here! I am going to my last ( 6 of 6) nutrition appointment this Thursday, on Friday my last primary care follow up, then my surgeon's office (Dr. Wizman) will submit my paperwork for insurance approval. It has been a long six months.

I live in Fort lauderdale and I have Best Choice Plus Insurance. I have finished 3 of my 6 Nutritionist/Primary Care appointments. I am do not know what to expect when I submit for approval. Has anyone out there had Best Choice Plus for a gastric sleeve?
