I am June 11th Mexico at Mi Doctor Hospital

I just applied today through the clerk of courts. I choose to expedite it for $60.00 more. They said it should take two to three weeks.

My date is set in June my MD will give me my pre/post op diet soon I hope. My mom had the gastric bypass and she had to go to a support group prior to the surgery and she said most people were saying "they had a last meal" the day before. I was just wondering everyone's thoughts. I know doctors orders are best but just wondering everyone's thoughts and experiences. Thanks for your thoughts.

I would like to know as well. Also wondering if you can claim Aflac. I have the hospital plan which pays you for your hospital stay but not sure if Mexico is covered or not.

Good to know. Is there anything you wish you would of brought with you? Also, did you feel like your pain was controlled ( I have heard they give NSAIDs for pain)?

OK so I'm going tomorrow to apply. They said it could take up to 12 weeks so I will have to pay for it to be expedited. You only need the passport card and not the book if you are going into Mexico on land.

I was looking in to Dr. Almanza but have switched to Dr. Elias Jesus Ortiz at the Mi Doctor Hospital in Tijuana. I am scheduling tomorrow for June 11th.
