  1. Yes! No doubt! I have lost 75 lbs so far since the start of this journey. Like may others, blood work is better than ever. EVER. Everything is in the normal range. I have never seen that. Doc took me completely of cholesterol meds. A1c at 4.95. What diabetes?
  2. While still relatively new to this, (2 months) my context is "always remember why I had to have this surgery". Even though my Diabetes is under control In am still a Diabetic. While I can't eat much I still have issues with food. All this to say that its important to not allow justification and outside influences sabotage your journey. Unless they are holding you down and shoving food in your face it is you that is eating it. That said it's also important to request their support
  3. The info I received from the doc and nut was about the lack to absorption on regular Vitamins just the same reason you need to take vitamins for the rest of your life. If their not chewed you do not get the value of the vitamin.
  4. Well I'm six day since my surgery and most of my circle of friends are congratulating me. Had one argument on Diabetes and that was it. Of course I waited till two days prior to tell anyone other than my wife and boss as I did not want to get the hundred monkeys in my head. Little self defence. See how it goes from here.
