I'm here to help...
Yeah... maybe you can find a synopsis on the internet. It might just stir things up for you, but what got to me is how this lady, and her siblings, emerged as successful, accomplished and well-adjusted adults despite the fiasco of their childhood. I found it inspirational, but am well aware that it might be too much for some people.... too painful, maybe. Just looked at MS Streets & Trips and looks like we'll be taking I-90 across ND to I-94.

Glad you're back, Laura. We always miss you when you're gone. Glad you had a good weekend with your folks and that your DH could go with you this time. Thanks for your update, and love the pics, as always!! Julie... where are you??? Are you okay?? Saw Meredith's graduation pics on FB.

You are right... my LBT friends are my bestest!! I share things I never share with anyone else!! That dental work sounds like quite an undertaking!! Hugs to you for getting through the process! Have you heard of or read the book "Glass Castles" by Jeannette Wall? You might or might not relate to it... True story about a girl who emerged victorious after a horrendous childhood. Family wedding in Buffalo is Aug. 28. DH thinks it will take 2 weeks to get there in the RV. So I assume we'll be leaving between 10 - 15 Aug. Will be stopping in Madison WI to see a friend... SIL's sister... she promised to make me her white chicken chili! This time I am writing down her recipe because it is SO good! Stopped there a few years ago for 2 nights and were almost devoured by the local mosquitoes. Haven't looked at a map yet, but I'm assuming the route will take us through ND. Great job on the clothes... the grades... the exercise! You are WONDER WOMAN!! You're doing so good.. and you look GREAT!! Love the new hairdo, and your face is looking so thin! You are a beautiful young lady! I was up until after midnight one night this week or last... trying to build 2 exercise playlists.. That wasn't the problem... getting them to sync to my iTouch was!! I have a "iTouch For Dummies" book, but so far that hasn't helped! I am wishing I hadn't begged for an iTouch for Christmas. Maybe I should've gotten a new Zune. Now I'm thinking of replacing my Blackberry with an iPhone, but maybe that would be a mistake. I consider myself a tech savvy grandma, but I just can't get iTunes to sync the things I want it to!! Very frustrating.

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Went to Primetimers. Then to one of the old ladies' home to try to install her printer. After 90 minutes, headache and backache... gave up! Her computer is a dinosaur! I told her she can buy a laptop for under $500 that would way surpass the desk top she has and take up less space and she could take it in another room if she wanted to. I finally went online to try to download the drivers/software from the internet, but she has dial up and when it started downloading it said it was going to take 5 1/2 hrs!!! So I canceled it! Came home... took my cruise around the neighborhood... nice day... got my latte, hung out at Target a while and came home. Probably will try the leftover spaghetti for dinner and see if it goes down easier this time! Four nights... Thursday through Sunday... July 1 - 5. Steve is in Grove OK, right near the AR border. I think he told me he was going to be in AR this week for a few days for a painting job, and then I think there's another one coming up in Kentucky or Tennessee. I lost track. He called on Sunday... which was a suprise because we hadn't heard from him in about 2 months. He said his cell phone fell in the water on a job last week. But he always has a story. He was calling on his boss' cell phone. And anyways, that doesn't explain why I didn't hear from him since March! I know.... tornadoes... scary!! They usually stay in motels, but he was talking about his boss getting an RV for them to stay in.. or maybe it was a travel trailer. He talks so fast and goes from one subject to another! And he kept saying he was going to call back later and tell us about all the "good news". When I pressed him for what kind of good news, his answer was... jobs coming up, etc. I just don't want any more grandchildren and we don't know anything about this latest girlfriend.. like age, fertility status, etc. :smile2::eek::smile: I think everything is quiet in Buffalo for the time being. With Uncle Ed's stroke, niece's accidents, seizures, etc, it's time for an end to the drama. My sister (youngest one) said she needs a vacation.. all the niece, grandniece issues were in her family. Screwed up my hip bowling on the Wii on Sunday! And PT exercises seem to be aggravating my back instead of helping.

Wow! Will be keeping you in my prayers re: all that dental work! Not fun! Funny dream!! We actually will be coming through your state with the RV this summer!! But not going to MOA this time! LOL!

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Good Morning! Well... I have to admit, he has a lot of good reasons for NOT getting a dog. I'll have one some day! Didn't eat much yesterday... usual BF, Costco snacks were a bust... two chips and a swallow of a yogurt smoothie, oh, and a bite of baguette. Had a wheat thin flat bread cracker when I got home. Put some hummus on it and a couple of small oysters. Dinner... Earl made spaghetti..... 2 oz angel hair, sauce made with canned chopped tomatoes, and turkey Italian sausage.. but ended up with only 4 small bites on my plate. But.... I PB'd on it and was miserable the rest of the night. Primetimers this morning but don't know if we're going or not. Want to go to the gym and do some bike time, but my hips are still so sore so I'll wait and see how I feel later.

Know you will be glad to get rid of Bro's place! That's GREAT!! Skinny Cows... when I get the sandwiches, I usually just eat 1/2. I got the caramel truffles, too. But, I can live with one a day. They're gone now... Earl ate some, too. He's been an absolute jerk all day today, BTW! Have no idea what I did to piss him off. Wanted to go to Harbor Freight today, so when I was ready... 10:30 a.m., I said... "this is my usual latte time"! So he told me I could get one this afternoon. I said, "that's my wine time". But I also told him, "never mind, I'll skip it" because I knew he wanted to leave. BUT.. he drives over to Surf Shack! HIS CHOICE! I told him I'd live witout it. He always gets impatient if he takes me over there because it takes longer than he thinks it should. So, from then on he was in a bad mood! Why do I put up with this sh****!!! Maybe he realy is trying to quit smoking. I don't now but he's a miserable SOB!! Good thing I have all of you to bounce my VENTS!! Oh, yeah... I got sarcastic comments for buying two more bottles of my Two Vines wine that is on sale this month for $4.99! Give me a break! Chewed me out because I "keep on buying wine"! He bought a BOX of wine last week and I am supposed to drink that or "Two Buck Chuck", which is close to $4 in WA state, so... what's the difference! So $5 is too much for me to pay for a bottle of wine???? When we were at Three Rivers, Jacki and I polished off a bottle of $30 wine a couple of times!! And I have a bottle I paid $25 for in OR that is being saved for a "special occasion"... his rule, not mine. What he puts in my salad is whatever we have... artificial crab... which I really like but he quit buying several weeks ago for some unknown reason, or shaved ham, maybe cheese... I like feta, sometimes tuna. Didn't go to the gym today because my hip was hurting too bad. Limping all day! Hope to go tomorrow to ride the recumbent bike. Tornadoes in OK were horrible. We lived there twice... a total of about 17-18 years. Saw destruction as severe as yesterday's only once during all those years, though. More bad weather there forecast for today/tomorrow. Worried about son, Steve who lives on the OK/AR border but moves around a lot working for a mobile painting company. But think they were working in OK this week. He called on Mother's Day, which was a real blessing. Hadn't heard from him in almost 2months, I think! I still want a little dog like Tracy's "shorkie", but Earl keeps saying "NO"! I LOVE that dog. Enjoyed her and Alisha's dachshund, Harley, on Mother's Day... both of them on my lap at the same time a couple of times. And had my face washed repeatedly!! Had a really fun time. We all went out to lunch... Jodie & family met us at restaurant. Then at Tracy's... we got a birthday cake for Charly (7th birthday Thursday), and played some Wii games, etc. Charly & I did "Just Dance" first, then I bowled a couple of games, then played golf with Charly... beat him at dance, we each won one round of golf. And that's why I can't walk this week!! LOL So I'll just keep thinking about that and not about what a jerk Earl is being today! My youngest sister, Shirley is having a horrible week! Friday her youngest daughter was in an accident on her way to work.. car was totaled, but she escaped with bumps and bruises and sore muscles. Mother's Day morning... daughter #2 was in the BR with her daughter who was throwing up with the flu when she passed out! Sick daughter helped her back to her room, but apparently passed out again because daughter went to check on her a few minutes later and she was on the floor in a pool of blood having a seizure. So... 911, ambulance transport to ER, broken nose and teeth went through lower lip... stitches required!! Then, today, GD had a grand mal seizure.. another 911 call, ambulance transport to ER!!

"This type of doctors handles injuries that require rehabilitation but do not require surgery. They take care of injuries affecting the muscles, nerves or bones. Some patients may have disabilities and the physiatrist works to help gain better movement." She thinks the pain was either muscular, or maybe WAS a kidney stone, which is what I initially suspected. She said it had to have been something that resolved itself since the pain in that specific area, and that intensity, has not come back since March 10! She said the physiatrist might recommend cortisone inj, though, as I am extremely tender in the lumbar area. Thus... the referral to PT and to this other doctor. Amuses me, though, that the only real pain I am having this week is my right hip from too much Wii bowling!! We had steak last night for the first time in WEEKS! I just barely finished my very small filet and sauteed onions, mushrooms and garlic. Couldn't get the veggies down. Weren't soft enough either. Had my small eggbeaters salmon omelet for BF today. Don't know what I'll have for lunch/dinner yet, but I've been eating a lot of Lean Cuisines lately. They're so quick and easy. Albertsons had them on sale last week for $1.88 and if you bought six you got a free box of Skinny Cows! Earl has been making himself a salad for lunch almost every day.. He came home 15 lb over goal. So he lost 7 1/2 last week with his brand of dieting... starving himself. But I have a hard time handling his salads. I tell him every time... make me a SMALL salad, but he doesn't get that. And there's always too much STUFF and not enough lettuce. At lunch time I am perfectly happy with a rye crisp cracker with hummus, lite cream cheese spread, maybe a couple of small canned oysters or a slice of shaved ham. No progress with weight loss for the last couple of months. Hoping the new exercise program will change that. Struggling to stay under 200! Really... the back is not a big problem right now. Bothers me if I have to sit in an uncomfortable chair for an hour or more... like choir practice, church... depending on the chair.. we've been church shopping since we've been home, so different chairs every week! I went to the doctor because I was following up on the urgent care doc's recommendation that I see a back specialist because of the bone spurs, messed up discs and evidence of arthritic changes in my spine. I pounced on her PT suggestion because I figured I could do that at my gym and hopeful that they would use the pool as part of my therapy!! So that worked out exactly as I'd hoped it would. I didn't particularly like the TENS because he put ice in it and you know me and COLD! I don't like ice cold drinks, ice cold food, etc. I don't tolerate cold of any kind! So when I got home I was chilled to the bone and couldn't get warm for a long time. But my Friday appointment is in the pool, which they keep heated to about 95 degrees. So I will enjoy that!

WEll... after the back episode in March, I never went to see a back specialist. So when I tried to make an appt here with ortho, they said I needed a referral from my primary care doc. And she wouldn't give me a referral unless I went in to see her for THAT problem. So I went this morning and took my x-rays. When she looked at the x-rays she said she didn't think those episodes of pain I had, based on where I showed her the pain was, had anything to do with the state of my spine/vertebrae, etc. She said the pain was too high, and the bone spurs and messed up spine are lower. So she wants me to see a physiatrist... for possible cortisone inj in my back, and she gave me an Rx for PT. I told her about the options for PT in my neighborhood, and turns out the gym I go to has a PT department. So when I went to my appt with the trainer this afternoon, I showed him the Rx for PT. He had me warm up on the bike for about 7 minutes and then decided I should so see the therapist and let him direct my exercise program. Turned out they had a 3pm appt available, and it was almost 3pm by then. By the time I filled out paperwork and she called my insurance and got confirmation of my benefits, the PT guy was ready for me. So I ended up being over there 2 hrs! He went through 3 different exercises with me, did a deep massage of my lumbar area, and put ice and TENS wrap on my back for about 20 minutes. I'm scheduled for therapy in their warm water pool on Friday, but I'll go over a couple of times between now and then to ride the bike and maybe I'll do a little walking on the treadmill, too. But, by the time I left there I could hardly walk... maybe from the bike, I don't know... but limping with pain in my right hip!! LOL!! Where does it end! I think I overdid the Wii with grandson, Charly (7) yesterday. I'm so competitive! First we did "Just Dance"... I won, then he got bored with that so I bowled a couple of games. (Think that's what did it!) Then Charly came back and we played two rounds of golf.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all of you! Denise, I do have a "Mad Money" account that Earl doesn't have access to. What I'd like to do is set up a monthly "payment" to that account..... my allowance.... and then I'd use that for my spending money. As it stands.... I use that to save for big ticket items I want to buy. And the agreement is that any "extra" money that comes in, I can put in that account. But last year I got in trouble for putting the tax return in that account!:biggrin::sad: Karla, hope you have a busier day at work today... I think!! LOL Haven't felt good all weekend... might have DD's flu... but not as sick as she was. About to have my omelet... not enthused about it. Ribs hurt from throwing up yesterday.

Hope you have a great time in Temecula. If you get to South Coast Winery... ask for Stephanie Blue. Our step-grandduaghter-in-law! Jodie & Al live about 50 miles away. I think they're going out to lunch with us, but she did comment that the kids can't wait to eat when they get out of church on Sundays... but they are going to skip the Sunday school hour, so that should make a difference. Anyway, I think it's more SIL who can't wait to eat! LOL Gigi is a "Shorkie"... 1/2 Yorkie, 1/2 Shitzu. She's adorable.. Weighs maybe 8 lb, if that. I use one of the recumbent bikes. I was just a little bit sore this morning, but as soon as I got on that thing everything started hurting.. knees, hips, shoulders, back... so I quit.

You sure need some down time!! You make ME tired reading about your daily/weekly routine!! You are one BUSY lady! You asked about the beach house $$ a couple of days ago and I don't remember if I answered you! Deposit was $38 each, I believe... someone correct me if I am wrong. And now we owe $802, so that's $100 each. OMG... so glad we no longer have teenagers living with us!! Worry about the grandkids, but they're not here under my nose driving me crazy and keeping me awake nights! What an awesome week... let's see... this incident last night, then there was the day his dog ate your carpet, what else????:eek::thumbup: How sweet of your DIL to remember the coffee machine! Wow! I have no one in my family that thoughtful! Tracy & Chris (well, Kellie, really) always remember birthdays and Mothers Day/Fathers Day, but.... Jodie & Steve just don't. At least Jodie & Al & family are coming up here Sunday, for a change... We've lived here 3 years and that's about how many times they've been to the condo! i know... they have 3 young kids... but.... And it doesn't take much effort to mail a card! Yes, I went to the gym again today. But he trainer caught me on the resistance machines and scooted me off... said I need to rest my muscles at least 48 hours before using them again... and he'd like me to wait until I see him again on Monday so he can watch me one more time to check my "technique" again. So he told me to do some cardio. So I went to the recumbent bike... stupid thing kept shutting down and wouldn't track my time or anything.. Told Tracy where that bike was and she used the same one the other day with the same problem. Anyway... as soon as I started pedaling my joints really started hurting. So I did a few minutes and decided I should probably quit. Maybe I'll go back again tomorrow. I have another appt with Ryan on Monday afternoon. Warmed up to "normal" this afternoon... high 50's, and the sun finally came out late in the afternoon. Highlight of my day was a visit from Tracy & Jim. So I went out to the car when they left to cuddle my grandpuppy, Gigi, for a few minutes. She loves me! Tracy & Alisha were very sick with the flu yesterday. So she was telling me how Jim let the dog come up to their room and she jumped on the bed and got under the covers with Tracy.... laying on her back, with her paws just over the top of the covers! Jim tried to take a picture but Tracy insisted she NOT be in it and he couldn't figure out how to take it that way! She is such a sweet puppy! I want one just like her! Earl was gone ALL day getting tow bar put on the new car. And they never got to the electrical!! He left around 7 a.m. and didn't get home until after 4 p.m. And he's sore because he amused himself by walking all over the place! He thinks he walked 5 miles... I say, in 8 hrs... it was probably a lot more than that even though some of the time he was shopping, looking at RVs, etc.

Our cat usually hides when she sees the cat carrier appear. But she didn't do that last week.. went willingly. I took her on my scooter.. she hollered all the way over and all the way back. But she was pretty good.. only tried to bite the vet once!!! :bored::biggrin::glare: Ah, ha!!!.... You flashed your underwear! NOW I see where you got that reputation you told me about!! LOL!! Nice chatting with you today! Ah.... good info! I will remember that! I had the resistance on the bike up to 5 today... probably better, then, to keep it down to about 3 and increase my time. I did have some pain in my hip joints and knee.... the good one, after my 12 minutes on the recumbent yesterday. So probably too much resistance. I really enjoyed the workout today.. just have to work out the bugs of using my iTouch, and build some appropriate workout playlists. Congrats, QUEEN!! Vet $$$$... ridiculous! $30 for the rabies shot, $48 for the exam!! DH has a fit every year when I take the cat in.. wants me to find a cheaper way to get her shots. I say, she's 13 yrs old... she needs a yearly vet check-up! Then they tried to sell me a bottle ... mouth wash, basically... put drops in her water to help prevent calculus on her teeth! It was $23!!! And a lifetime supply for several cats!! I said NO THANK YOU! YIKES!! That's a tough one! TWO YEARS???? Too long! Too dangerous! I'm with you, Mom! Nuts!

Good point.... #1, he will want to buy the cheapest espresso machine he can find, #2, he won't want to spend $$$ on the right kind of beans, #3, neither of us knows how fine to grind the beans for espresso drinks, #4, we will have to start buying milk on a regular basis. I have a bottle of SF Raspberry flavoring, but I like 1/2 SF Raspberry, 1/2 SF white chocolate... the powder kind... don't know where to buy that. Our Mother's Day plans.. DD#2 and her family are coming up here after church... I think they're going out to lunch with us.. I sort of think she was hoping Tracy would cook... but that wouldn't be fair on Mother's Day. And she was mumbling something about the kids being so hungry after church that they have to eat right away.. she didn't know if they could wait until they drive up here. That's why we usually drive down to them each Mother's day... Which we were willing to do, but SIL told her they need to come up here this year! Okay with me. But hope it all works out okay. Hope you have a good day despite having to work! Empty nest is a GOOD thing... issue an ultimatum to that girl... she does chores or she moves out. She should be doing her part around the house without being told she HAS to!! You've let her get away with that for too long! Get tough!! And BUY SOME NEW SOCKS!!

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
LOL!! Yesterday when I was asked why I was gone so long to the "gym", I explained that I wasn't coming home with any more lattes in my hand (although I already broke the new resolution today!), so... I went from the gym to Surf Shack and then took my latte and went shopping at Target until it was gone!! And I told him when this pre-paid card is used up, I'm buying my lattes with cash from now on so he can't see my purchases! I usually load my card with $25, reload when it gets low. So he sees all these $25 charges on the debit card. So.. Yep.... I will be withdrawing cash from now on. My idea was to set up an automatic deposit of $300 a month from our main checking account to my "mad money" account that he can't see. He doesn't realize it, but he's turning in to his father... whom he ... I don't like to use the word "hate", but it was close to that. The only money his mother ever got was cash to buy groceries... and she didn't drive, so he took her shopping. But she would hide whatever she didn't spend, and that was the only way she could ever buy herself anything.. like a new pair of shoes, etc. And then she had to take a bus downtown after he went to work in the afternoon to shop for herself. He was a tyrant! Earl doesn't come close to doing some of the things he used to do, but... when it comes to money.... he's getting there!! :bored::sleep::glare: His mother had NO MONEY when his father died... no insurance, etc., just his social security. She lived about 12 more years after he died.. and she'd been so used to saving every scrap of change she could get her hands on.. when she died each of her 7 kids got $10,000... AFTER all other obligations were met! How did she do that!!! Some of it maybe from selling mobile home they lived in, and car, but that couldn't have amounted to very much. Funny story Earl's brother told us once... She sent him to the store to buy her ONE apple. He brought her TWO so she made him take one back! Okay... enough about MONEY!! Was at the gym for about 45 minutes... for real... then I went to Surf Shack... but it was raining too hard to go waste time somewhere else while I drank my coffee, so I went home! Had 2nd appt with my trainer, Ryan. Puzzles me that no one has asked me for $$$$ yet! Yes... Tracy gave me a 1 week free pass, but owner said I was entitled to 3 free consults with a personal trainer.. on a free one week pass??? oh, well... he's the owner! So.... first day we just talked about me and my personal goals, and my health, etc., and what kind of program he suggested for me. So today.. we did recumbent bike, 5 minutes, then four of the resistance machines... 15 reps X2 on each... 2 legs, 2 arms... When we were done I did 10 more minutes on the recumbent bike. Then I got soaking wet going back to the car. I'd had thorough instructions as to HOW to park the new car!! Only my 2nd time to drive it... so.. being obedient, I parked in handicap because the slots are WIDE. Unfortunately they are at the far corner of the building no where near the front door. It was POURING when I came out and I got soaked!

New 60+ Thread
Two bad episodes with the back, but nothing in 6 weeks now. X-rays don't look so good though! :bored: Bone & Joint place won't see me until I get a referral from my primary care Dr. Primary care won't give me a referral until I see her for THIS problem! Stupid! Medicare doesn't require a referral! But the clinic does! So I go next week to the primary care doc. That's what made me go find the CD with the x-rays on it. Have to take it to her. I went to a local gym today... my 3rd time this week. DD gave me a free 1 week pass. So firs time the owner took me on a tour through their facilities. Pretty impressive... day spa, tanning beds, espresso bar, therapy pool, very nice treadmills, stationary bikes, etc., and resistance machines. So today trainer got me set up on a routine... use 2 resistance machines for arms, 2 for legs, and showed me how to work the recumbent bike. There is a jack to put your iPod in... charges it, too. But then you plug your earbuds in to the jack on the bike.. and it wouldn't work. I kept getting loud screeches in my ear. So I took it off the jack and plugged my earbuds directly in to my iTouch. Working out the bugs! Now I have to "build" a work out playlist! What I'm hoping is that when I see the ortho doc maybe he will order physical therapy and I can go there for it, and use the nice warm pool!!

No kidding! When I needed a fill last year when we were in CA it was cheaper for me to fly home and get one, even with rental car, than to get one from one of the docs down there!!

Decided to skip Primetimers today so we went to Costco this morning. And I made an appt with Ryan at the gym for 2 pm. Oh, got chewed out over the weekend for spending too much money on lattes since we've been home.... $25 a week. So now I'm supposed to buy an espresso maker and make my own! We've had one before and never could quite get it right. Steaming the milk, for one thing...a pain. And I ENJOY going over there every day. It's a social thing, too! Some days I just wish I was single! I'm tired of having all my purchases scrutinized! Riteaid has some wine I really like on sale all month for $4.99 a bottle - so I got in trouble for buying two bottles of that the other day, too. We are just barely on speaking terms at the moment because I am TICKED! Every time I say I want an allowance, he says that's ridiculous because I can buy ANYTHING i want to buy! Yeah, right!! I may run away! The directions were right there... enter age, I did, enter weight, I did, enter program, I did.... then this 84 would pop up and I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do next. So I'd hit enter again and it would cycle right back to age!! So I gave up and just started pedaling! So sorry to hear about your friend's death. Hugs!

My surgery was covered under Medicare/Tricare. Though I don't remember if Tricare picked up any of it. They started covering LapBand after my surgery but made it retroactive back about 6 mos. I think they made me pay $200 for something... but Tricare should have reimbursed me and didn't. I've never been charged for a fill.... Medicare has paid for them. Going back to see personal trainer today. Monday he mostly interviewed me and told me what he'd like to include in my program. Hope to get him to show me how to set up treadmill and recumbent bike today. Used the bike yesterday for almost 15 minutes, but was a struggle setting the program I wanted to use. No sore muscles today, but hip joints hurting some, and my GOOD knee!! That sort of concerns me! Would have expected the right knee to hurt but not the left!!

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Did some time on the recumbent bike but really need to have someone show me how to work the machines. Everything all computerized and I couldn't figure out how to program the thing. Got it to function, but never did get it to track my heart rate. My watch will take my pulse... when I stopped it was 127, so I think that's about right. Trainer wanted me to come back tomorrow.. said I couldn't, but after trying to use the machines on my own, I thought about calling him today to set up an appt and skip Primetimers. But... Earl wants to go to costco tomorrow after Primetimers, so I didn't do it.

UH OH.... the fur is going to fly tonight!! I would come unglued, too!! I think the puppy would be looking for a new home! I was going to go to the gym this afternoon with Tracy & Alisha, but it's so cold out... I couldn't make myself go out again. AND.. they are going late tonight... like about now, and it will be crowded... and it's my first time. So I think I'll just go by myself in the morning. Found out at my "personal trainer" appt that the guy who showed me around last week is the owner! just a young guy... thought he was one of the trainers! Tracy's one day a week job has turned in to just about full time now! She is filling in for a lady who is in ICU, so I'm thinking this may last through the end of the school year! So.. I may be going by myself most of the time because I don't want to go in the late afternoon. I don't know what is going on, but feeling sick every time I eat for the last three days. Maybe a touch of the flu?? Problems with reflux, too. But that's been going on for a couple of weeks. Not fun.

I like to use those "Smiley Central" animations. They sure have some cute ones. I will be able to go to the gym w/DD & GD. Could've gone over with DD this afternoon... but after two cruises around the neighborhood on my scooter in the frigid wind this afternoon, I opted not to go out again. She was going after work... like 5pm, and that's kind of late for me, and it's crowded then. I think I'll go tomorrow morning. Straws.... I've heard that we're not supposed to use them, but I do anyways. I don't have a problem. I think it's something about swallowing too much air. But I burp whether I use a straw or not!!:biggrin::blushing:
