  1. Wondering how everyone is doing? I was also sleeved on 4/23. As of yesterday I am 78 lbs down. Lots of hair loss, but overall feeling really great!
  2. I wish you both luck and health! My partner decided that she was going to lose, partially for her health and partially because I am not telling anyone about the surgery. So her thought was that she could tell people we are working really hard together. Four months later, I am down nearly 70 pounds. This would be impossible for her to keep up with, but it is also easier for her to slide. She has the option of a soda or a biscuit at dinner. I have this amazing tool that helps keep me in check. But, overall, she has been incredibly supportive and this has been a great journey to have with her.
  3. I am Beth, totally new to the site. I am 28, and the biggest reason I am doing this is because I have been suffering for a long time with Intracranial Hypertension, which causes some really awful neurological side effects. I am also looking forward to leading a healthier life, and hopefully avoiding the diabetes and heart disease that plagues the women in my family. I haven't told anyone except for my family that I am having the sleeve done. I am waiting for my date right now , all I know is that it will be in May! I am feeling so much excitement as it creeps closer. I wish everyone luck!
  4. I should be having my sleeve in May. IIH was the deciding factor for me, I am really hoping that this is what it takes to have pain free days again.
