I feel the same way Jim! I keep having the whole "last meal" thought cross my mind and I hate that because I know deep down it's not true. I'm going to have to find new ways to cope with stress and stuff like that, it really has been my friend...my shoulder to cry on. But I guess it hasn't been my friend at all if I'm here huh? food is a part of my life, it's there when I'm sad, it's there when I'm celebrating, it's there in all the in between moments, it's just there and I want it. Someone else mentioned it being a part of socializing and it definately is for me too. Hubby and I have already talked about that a lot...what are we going to do on date nights now if we can't go pig out at our favorite mexican restarant? I guess we'll have the energy to go bowling or something after dinner now instead of rolling ourselves to the car and coming home and plopping our fat asses on the couch in a food coma. It'll get better though, just keep telling yourself that. The end result will be worth it! And in a few weeks when I come on here saying I miss food, remind me of that...lol.

I very rarely take pictures of myself because I hate looking at myself, but you're in luck just for the holiday I let photos be taken of me....lol. I figured, why not, hopefully this will be my last Christmas fat. So, here's me from today! Oh and Go COWBOYS! lol

I have been thinking about this more and more and I was just wondering what everyone else has done? I have about 100 lbs. to lose and I'd really like to be at goal by a year post op. Is that a good goal or should I shoot a little lower?

I like painting, sewing, cake decorating and the biggest thing I LOVE to do is scrapbook, it's almost an obsession...lol.

My husband wasn't all for it when i first started talking about it. He told me he didn't want me to do it, but regardless he was there for me and going to help me and support me. After learning more about it he feels better about it and is happy for me that I'm able to do this. Just by him saying don't get your stomach pinched, he obviously doesn't know anything about it. Help him learn more about it. And let him know you're doing this for YOU and you need his support! Good luck!

UGH, she came here about a month ago and that happened to a lot of people too. But, they did put out about 5,000 more tickets though about a week before the concert, maybe they'll do that where you are too so you can get some at the regular ticket price. That is so wrong of them to do that, it's pathetic and it's sad.

I am a whole lot of emotions, excited, anxious, nervous, scared. I just got my approval yesterday, at first I was on cloud 9, "OMG, I got approved, YAY!" Then the more I thought about it, the more fear set in. I'm scared, but at the same time I can't wait to get it done. I still have over a month to go, so I can just imagine what a roller coaster I'm about to go on with my emotions. Luckily I have enough stuff going on the next few weeks to keep my mind off of it. I don't think you've done a very thorough look around this forum. There's plenty of the good and bad, maybe you should look a little harder, but really it's not that hard to see.

I just got the call I've been waiting for for a week, I'm approved and I'm surgery date is official. I'm so excited I don't know what to do..lol. I just had to share :whoo:

You're right. I guess I am putting more of the blame on the celebrities than I actually should. People should speak out for what they believe in. I just think it's wrong to vote for someone just because someone else is, no matter who it is. And in the end, that lays on the general publics shoulder to use our voting privileges the right way. People shouldn't let a celebrity or anyone else sway their vote just because of who they are.

I don't feel sorry for them, those people have the potential to destroy our country even more. It's a ploy just to get votes, the candidates KNOW that people will vote for them because some celebrity says they're voting for them, whether it's Oprah or King Kong, it's still wrong. It's wrong for the celebrity and it's wrong for the candidate, to take advantage of the ignorant people. I would rather win knowing people voted for me because they know what I'm about and want that. As far as talking black, i don't know what to tell you on that. I think you're beating a dead horse, because I doubt very seriously you're going to get an answer to than one.
