Does anyone have to give themselves injections of Lovenknox in the stomach? Doc says it prevents bloodclots.

Surgery on Tuesday came home on Thursday..I slept all day after surgery and most of Wed....very sore and tired. I'm doing horrible with fluids and protein mainly because I have no appetite but also because I have pain with every swallow. Just feels like a brick moving slow down my chest into my stomach...anyone else having that problem? Hopefully, 2morrow wil be better

June 25th.....just got approved yesterday.....so my 2week liquid diet has been drastically reduced

Submitted to insurance on June 10th. Called insurance everyday to no avail...then I called today an low and behold 5:12 on Friday figured i'd call one more...when the guy said "APPROVED", I literally had a rush of emotions....thank you Jesus surgery is scheduled for Tuesday

Hello Everyone, This is my first time posting but I'm so happy to have found this forum. Just knowing you are not alone in the struggle has been refreshing. My surgeons office submitted my paperwork on June 10th, so I'm smack dab in the middle of the waiting game. I'm tentatively scheduled for surgery on Tuesday the 25th. Needless to say my emotions are all over the place. I know in my heart that I have made the absolute best decision not only for me but for my family. Ive known for a very long time that I cannot be the best Mom and Wife possible until I start taking care of me. So this is it "My time". I look forward to sharing this journey with all of you. Anyone out there from SJ or Philly???

I have Aetna, they told me it was a 72 hr turn around to....I submitted on the 10th...as of yesterday still under review Edit Just got approval last nite...surgery is tuesday:-)
