  1. I was too for a long time and then I thought of the risks I would have (I.e. heart attack, stroke, etc.) if I didn't have the surgery. To me, the risks of surgery are a lot less significant! You are going to do great!
  2. I can't believe tomorrow is surgery!! I feel surprisingly calm, but ready for the next few days to be hell! How is everyone feeling?
  3. Lol...thanks for the responses. I finally broke down and told my hubby about my concern. His response "you let me worry about your vagina, I know what it needs". Lmao...so glad to have such a a great man. Still worried about her though....have it on my list to buy a hand held mirror!! Will monitor closely and keep everyone updated! Lol
  4. Getting excited! Where are you located?
  5. Thanks for the replies! I am so excited and getting my house in order. I have been on the pre diet and have only lost a few pound, but very happy with that! Is everyone ready? How much time are you taking off of work?
  6. We will rock it!! Where are you having surgery and your current stats?
  7. My date is July 18th and I am so excited! I believe the devil is in planning, so I am putting together an after surgery survival box! Contain, everything I MAY need, so I don't have to send hubby to store...including a calendar of when I can eat what types of foods. In addition, I am putting in some of my "fat" pictures and some pictures of when I was skinny? Also including a list of why I chose the surgery and a list of what I look forward to most after surgery....I may need some emotional reminders!! Many of the items I will include are ideas I got from this forum (gas x, colace, etc). I think this is helping my hubby too...as he is gaining confidence of how to help me post-op! Good luck to all!
  8. Okay, so as I gained weight my vaj-jay gained too! Especially right above, in my pubic hair region...it's a big ol' fat pooch! So freaking disgusting and it has ,ajar impact on sex life. Now that I have a surgery date I am starting to wonder how my poor little va-jay-jay will look afterwards! I mean she wants to be pretty too! Did anyone else have this horrible pooch? What difference did you see in your girlie parts?? Is there such thing as vag tuck?? lol... I don't want her to be droopy or saggy!! Lol...sorry, but this is really a serious concern! 5'2" 264 lbs
  9. I have my date and so excited and scared! My biggest fear is that I will fail!! I know that seems so silly, but when you have tried everything...you start to doubt that you really can be healthier and thinner! I am committed to following dr.s orders per and post op, but again just so scared of failing? Is anyone else sruggling with this? I am 5'2" and currently weigh 264 (BMi 48). I look forward to the day I can post per and post op photos!
  10. I am pre-op, but have already starting speaking to my esthetician about great facials and skin tightening products. I use GlyMed Plus at home and they have amazing products for dark circles and I anticipate my home regimen may need to change post-op. anyway...I would encourage you to visit with a credible esthetician and treat yourself to a great facial!
  11. Excellent post!! Great job....others' stories are so motivating! How much have you lost?
  12. Awesome list!! I hate being the fat friend!
  13. Great list! I can't wait to shed my fat prison and live again!
  14. Skinny sex, skinny sex, skinny sex!! So exciting!!
