It was great overall. Only problems I had were an allergic reaction to surgical tape. His nurse Dana is the best! The first 2-3 weeks are rough with the soreness, having to adjust and getting past head hunger but its so worth it. I've lost 40 pounds since surgery and haven't really had anything make me sick. Just follow the plan they give you and hopefully all will be well. Good luck!

I think my mother in law used Dr Balder. I used Dr Avara in Ocean Springs. Had surgery June 10th.

Surgery date - June 10th HW - 353 SW - 339 CW 302 Down 37 since surgery and down 51 since pre-op. LOVE my sleeve!

I was sleeved June 10th too. I lost 14 pounds first 8 days then stalled for 9 days in my 2ND WEEK! Talk about frustration. Your in the famous 3 rd week stall that everyone talks about 30 lbs is AWESOME! I've only lost 19 since surgery, 14 of that 1st week and im over 300 lbs! My doc said the stall was normal. Body is in shock right now.

I only weigh myself every 5-7 days so I don't obsess, that's why it's so heartbreaking when I don't lose anything after that amount of time.

I was sleeved on June 10th and lost 14 pounds in the first 8 days. Have only lost 3 more pounds since. I just don't get how I can only lose 3 pounds in 2 weeks this early out. I also weighed 339 at surgery, 322 now. As someone who needs to lose well over 100 pounds I feel so confused and aggravated! I feel like I'm broken and I'm not going to lose anymore weight. I just don't understand....

I was sleeved June 10th, 17 days post op. I lost 14 pounds in the 1st 8 days. I have not lost a single pound since though. So an 8 day stall thus far. Saw my doc yesterday and told him that I can't wrap my brain around why I haven't lost a single pound since 8 days out. He had the same reaction as your doc. He said it will come, just be patient. My body is in shock and it'll start losing again when it's ready. So my husband hid the scale and I'm perfectly fine without it.

I had Refried beans with a wedge of chipotle laughing cow cheese melted into it and a tsp of sour cream. It was AMAZING!!

I was sleeved the 10th as well. I itched like you wouldn't believe!!! Also had a bad rash from all the scratching. NOTHING helped so the nurse took off my surgical tape and my general practitioner doc gave me a steroid shot of prednazone. Haven't itched since.

Anyone cut up pickles and put in food processor during puree stage?
