I'm still in the hospital. I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen. They gave me a big dose of antibiotics before surgery, so I'm not sure how I could have an infection. I've been walking quite a bit and am still using my scds.

I had surgery around 9:30 yesterday morning. Today I have a low fever. Also, when I walk it feels like I'm having a hot flash in my right forearm. It even gets hot to the touch. Anyone else have this happen?

Good luck! I had mine yesterday morning! Its over before you know it!

I asked for a heating pad, but they said they had to have orders for me to use it.

The different feelings are wild! I'm so much more sore today though.eck! Ive got a clicker for pain too, but mostly it just makes me go to sleep lol.

I had my surgery around 9:30 yesterday morning. I didnt have a lot of gas pain, but my stomach is even more sore now than it was yesterday. I feel like someone has punched me in the stomach a few times. Its not unbearably painful, just really uncomfortable.

Yeah, I keep waiting for gas pain. I've had very little. When I neednto burp though, it feels like I'm going to vomit so that's a little weird. I honestly didn't expect to be burping so much...I thought is be busier on the other end LOL!

Okay, so tonight the soreness has really kicked in. I am super, super sore. Very little gas pain though. I do have a tiny bit of reflux, but I'm thinking that's because I've been burping.

Everyone said walk - do it!!! It makes things much easier! Feeling mostly sore now. Not terrible gas pains.

Its a blood thinner.

Well, I'm alive! Gas pain is all in my chest. Totally sucks. Um pretty sore too.

Also Dr told me they're using 40fr bougie

Well, they gave me valium. Never had it before. Definitely feeling calmer. ..lol

Thanks you guys! Got my IV now, heparin shot, zofran in my IV, and my scds on! I'm getting more and more scared as the minutes pass!!!

I have to be at the hospital at 7:15am. I am absolutely freaking out. I keep having little daydreams about just running away! I'm so scared! I hope I'm making the right decision...

My surgery is tomorrow! I have to be there at 7:15 am! EARLY! But I'm glad so I don't have to think about it all day!!!

Thanks you guys! So many emotions today! I just keep thinking of my three year old son. I'm doing this for him! He asked me a few months ago, "Run with me, Mommy!" And I couldn't and it was the worst feeling ever! I want to run with him more than anything in the world! I'm just scared! I hope I'm doing the right thing by having surgery! I've tried for years to get it off by myself - but nothing has ever worked! So here's hoping this is my shot to finally get healthy!

I wish I had butterflies in my tummy. I wish had just about anything in there! LOL! This liquid diet is for the birds.....I'm hungry! LOL! But my six months did seem to go buy very quickly! Surgery for me tomorrow! I can't believe it's time already!

I made the mistake of buying chocolate & peanut butter protein powder. It's terrible! It takes like coffee with cream and sugar in it! I hate coffee, eck! I got it at Walmart and it's a newer brand I believe. It at least says new on the bottle. But it has 30 grams of protein in one scoop.

I'm going to use the Fusion vitamins.
