    Smooth Move Tea

I use Smooth Move if it's been at least three days since my last BM. I am 6 months post op. I use it maybe once every three or four weeks. I make a cup just prior to going to bed. I have always had relief within an hour of waking. No cramps and I've never had it not work. But you will need to be able to repeatedly get to a bathroom quickly for a few hours. Good luck!

    April 3rd!

Down 69lbs and ran a 5K this morning! I feel great but wow...the losing has certainly slowed. How about the rest of you? losing a lot of hair but it doesn't seem to be noticeable yet. What is everyone eating at this point?

    100 mile challenge

I'm kind of late to this party...but I'm in. I don't know if I can hit the 100..but so far this week my three runs have been 3.5, 3.5 and 4=11 I have a 5K tomorrow. I'm 5 months out of surgery and started running two months ago. Used the C25K to get started. I love this challenge, thank you!

    Cruise?

I just returned from a cruise....I was 8weeks post op...and it was great. There are food options for you(eggs, soups, fish) ...and I brought some protein shakes and bars with me just in case. I only ended up eating one. I had no problems at all. My caution to your wouldn't be the food....but that I wouldn't have physically felt up to it at three weeks. It seems that others recovered physically way faster than me though

    Sleeved April 3rd.

I was sleeved April 3 and as of my follow up appt .yesterday, I am also down 18pounds. That includes the five day prediet though. I am very happy seeing it.

    Vacationing after surgery

I was sleeved on April 3 and leaving for a cruise on June 1. I will be on regular foods by then but am taking protein shakes (with a note that my doctor is writing) to make sure I am still meeting my protein needs. And the gym on the boat is great. It is a whole new mind set to vacation not being completely about the eating/drinking. Soooo excited.

    April 3rd!

I did have the laproscopic...there's just one area on the upper right that's giving discomfort now. I know it's getting better each day. I'm meeting the minimum requirements on liquid/protein. I feel like the actual internal stomach workings are doing well. My belly noise and spasms have really slowed down over the last two days. I'm on full liquid for another 7 days. I'm very excited to get out and really start walking.
