  1. It sounds like your either too tight, or eating too much/too fast. It's very important that you eat very small bites very slowly. My band can fluctuate from day to day, so things you ate yesterday might not be able to eat today. If you are eating small amounts very slowly and still getting stuck, you may need to have an unfill on your band.
  2. Now that fall is here it is the perfect weather for walking. I really enjoy walking along the Jordan River Parkway and would love some company. Is there anyone out there that would like to join me?
  3. Welcome to the group, I haven't told a lot of people either. Have we cemented a time, place, date to meet for dinner?
  4. Hello Everyone! I'd love to join you for dinner, evenings work best for me. I went to a nice support group but everyone had gastric bypass and it wasn't really helpful for me. I was banded last March so I'm coming up on my year mark and my last fill finally hit the 'sweet spot' Thank goodness! I went through Rocky Mountain and he does flouroscopy when needed.
  5. Congrats! I can't believe its almost been a year. I'm trying to lose 70 by my year mark!
  6. Yummy!!! Thanks so much for the ideas :tt1:
  7. So most of my meals are heated. I am tired of them and want some fun summer recipe ideas to get me excited for the summer. Outside of cold deli meats and cheese... what is everyone else eating this summer?
  8. I make beaded bracelets you can hook onto your Medical ID.... I"ve even sold some!
  9. I just need a tall man... where did they all go?
  10. So what are you eating that causes you to have the problems? I've found I just can't eat some foods. After this last fill I really had to get back to basics. Make sure I was taking super tiny bites and chewing them completely. I still can't eat much in the morning when I'm the hungriest, I can usually eat more later in the day. So I guess that is a hidden bonus. I even had to start measuring out my foods as I had forgotten just how small 2 ozs really is
  11. My tummy tells me I'm full by sending hiccups my way. It's kinda funny like a built in alarm system
  12. Pain by the port side is pretty common. I went and had a massage a few weeks after my surgery and she worked on my belly area. I think the gas gets clustered up by the port which gives the side ache. I would massage my belly area very gently every day after and never had the pain again. Good luck!
  13. I'm on mushies.. feel more restriction in the morning then the rest of the day.. crazy! But still doing ok with the meals
  14. I put the loungewear on that I wore to the hospital yesterday. Yup it was pretty snug the surgery day, today it was falling off me!
  15. I haven't had much of an appetite but this afternoon I finally felt up to eating. I'm on soft foods now so I tried some hard boiled eggs chopped up with a bit of mayo. Maybe about a 1/4 of a cup and couldn't finish it. I was full! So weird but glad it's there! LOL
