  1. I was thinking we might need a FB page for the people during this time frame or the people getting sleeved in Mexico the month of May. This would be a good support group between us.
  2. My plane arrives at 12:55 P.M. The only reason I am paying for the single-incision is because our skin is different and can tend to keloid or have raised scars; I don't want to take the chance. I really need to ask Dr. Garcia or even research more about the scars after surgery since there is no sutures are on the inside and not out side, but I believe he puts staples on the outside until it's time for us to leave. **BTW, single-incision takes longer and he told me that it will be more painful.
  3. Maybe we should befriend each other on FB so we can chat. Let's make sure that we keep in touch.
  4. Lisa, I'm really getting excited about meeting all of my same day sleeve buddies :-) I meet two other ladies that will be having surgery the same day. :-) their names are MrsPlusAmericaJacksonville and DeAntonica. Hopefully we will all be at Florence. Hopefully it will just be us four on that day. Since I am flying in the same day, I might end up being the last one to go; no telling. Please keep in touch. I will also make sure to provide you will my information. Are you having the single-incision or multi-incision done? Rollargirl and Kristina will have theirs the next day. We will pull through ours and go be cheerleaders for them. My sleeve family :-)
  5. Sherri I will lift you up in prayer in the name of Jesus. Everything will be just fine.
  6. Glad to hear everything went well. My surgery is schedule for May 10; I cannot hardly wait. Who was your doctor?
  7. Dr. Garcia - Florence Hospital 10-13. Surgery on the 10th.
  8. You look really good. Keep up the good work.
  9. All you can send Dr. Garcia an email through Facebook he is good at responding.
  10. Yes, from Dr. Garcia. I'm glad that he is honest. I am getting it done.
  11. Decided to remove the email I received from the Doctor because there was so many mixed reviews about what was said in the email I posted. As of today, I will be having the signle-incision surgery. I will make sure to update my experience on the website so we can have more post on "Single-incision".

  13. I think you will be in good hands.
  14. I have eaten so much that I am sick of food. My husband told me I better stop eating before they end up charging me more because I weigh more than what I told them. Lol. I'm tired of food. I might start Pre-op early.
  15. I will make sure to do so. I wish I could be there tomorrow.
  16. I requested to have surgery at the Florence Hospital on May 10. I'm still up in the air about the Single-incision. I don't want to spend the extra 1K, but I really don't want to be cut on in several areas. I don't have any scars on my stomach now; kind of want to leave it that way.
  17. Sending prayers up and wishing you a speedy recovery.
  18. There are some good Youtube videos, they also call it the spider procedure.
  19. I think you will be alright. I believe I read someone comment that they leave your bottoms on during that time. They are doctors, they have seen every thing.
  20. I will be lifting you up in prayer as I do all that is going through this surgery. Cannot wait to hear your story :-)
  21. I hope to meet you while I am there :-)
  22. Have you scheduled a date in May?
  23. LaserSkinGirl thanks for posting. I have also opted for "Same Day Surgery". My plane arrives at 12:30; I was a little worried about being late for testing, but Alma said that I would be fine. I will stay two nights in the hospital and 1 night in the hotel. I want to get back home. I told my boss that I would be having surgery, did not mention what type, but asked if it was okay to work from home until I felt I was ready to come back to work. I was planning on returning to work the next day after I arrived home, just want the extra time if needed.
