Great! I'm 8 days post op and not one complaint!

Great! I was moved up to April 8. My turning point was Thursday...started to feel human again. Feel really good today. Still sore, but good. Trying to get all of my liquid and protein in me. Who'd have thought any of us would have trouble eating/drinking enough??

My goodness! Who in here has any right to judge whether someone else qualifies for or should have surgery. We're all here for support and to share information. Simply appalled right now.

Hi all! Getting sleeved on April 9 by Dr. Pop at Barix. Can't wait!!

Cigna's requirements must vary depending on your company our plan. I had to have a BMI over 40, a history of chronic morbid obesity, 3 months of medically supervised weight loss attempt with PCP, over the phone nutritionist consultation, psych eval, and letter of recommendation from PCP. I have one comorbidity and was approved on the first try in one week. When I saw the insurance coordinator calling me so soon, my heart sank thinking I was denied. Scheduled for April 9.

My surgery is on Tuesday and I plan to return to work Monday. I will take more time if I need it, but from everything I've read I'll be ready unless there are complications. My doctor agrees. After over 4000 surgeries, I trust his judgement. :-)

I haven't read one negative thing about him or the staff. I'm so excited!!

Anyone going to Barix at Forest Health in Ypsilanti, MI? I'm scheduled with Dr. Poplawski on April 9. So excited!!

Chell1978- my surgery is April 9 and my NKOTB etc tickets are for June 9. Woohoo!
