Thanks Gina I ride 2-3 times a week and like you can't imagine not riding for months. First time you rode, did it feel like your insides were juggling around? I know that's a crazy question but its something I keep thinking about.

Any post op VSG out there that ride horses?? If so, please comment and tell me how far post op you were when you rode your horse. I have a great horse and I don't fear any problems with him, just curious how uncomfortable you were riding?

I'm from Gatesville also curto, I'm having my sleeve done by Southwest Bariatrics- Dr. Mark Sherrod in May. Has anyone used them? Anything good or bad??

What patch, is it a pain medication?

Does anyone have any recommendations for Doctors/hospitals in Central Texas. My Insurance has an exclusion regarding any wt loss surgery so I will be self pay. Someone has recommended Southwest Bariatrics in Austin, Dr. Mark Sharrod. Any one know of him?
