What kind of pain did you have? Was it a constant pain did it come and go? Or did it only hurt when you drank or ate something?

I have officially been sleeved
I was sleeved this morning. So far everything has went great. I woke up in moderate pain in the center of chest epigastric area. It was from the gas. My incisions are not sore at all. So far I have took sips of water and ate ice chips with no pain or nausea. The doctor said that everything looks good. I am just peeing my brains out because all the IV fluids. Other then that all is good

Insurance question.
- Insurance question.
But when I talked to the bariatric team over my insurance that approves the surgery they told me there was no pre existing clause so I don't have a clue. One person told me there was and another said there wasn't.- Insurance question.
Well they told me it was a clause in place where she didn't have insurance for 2 yrs then I added her to my insurance and that they said there would be a pre existing clause on everything she was treated for with her previous insurance. That she has to have this insurance for a year. But I told them she has never been treated medically by a doctor.- Insurance question.
My wife is wanting to have gastric sleeve done and we just added her to my insurance plan this year. i was just wondering if anyone insurance had a pre existing clause and if so, could you have surgery if you completed all the requirements needed for surgery. if you have never been medically treated for obesity beforehand. Or if you had to wait to have your insurance a complete year before they would approve it.- Newbie on the sleeved trail.
Yes you are right the meds will make you feel like your at Disneyland haha I know it won't be bad. But congrats on your upcoming surgery I hope everything goes well for you and that the new ride your about o endure is full of great things for you. Thanks for being so supportive and helpful - Insurance question.
