  2. Welcome! I'm presently in Arlington myself. I'm working on establishing a social/support group for the Tarrant county area, as most of them are in Dallas or Collin. I'm working on a central location to meet that is NOT a restaurant. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I'm a sleever, but am looking at starting a monthly patient led meeting for ALL WLS patients, like the ones I am part of in Dallas. If anyone is interested, PM me.
  4. There's the monthly Baylor Plano meeting nest Wednesday. If you are really struggling, you may consider the weekly lifestyle change group ran by Dr Ashmore. It's fantastic. You have to have met with him first, so if you are interested, come to Wednesday night and get the info!
  5. Best advice ever! I currently go to 3-4 different groups, and each one is very different. I'm moving across the Metroplex and will be looking for new ones too.

  7. My highest weight was 390, day of surgery (3/14/13) I was 360. As of this morning, I am 292.

  14. They also have a big bag of smaller, roughly 100 calorie bags. I keep one in my desk drawer at work.
  15. I've been trying to make it there, since I had my surgery at Methodist, but it's hard to get from Plano to downtown at rush hour. Wish they were at like 6:30 or 7.
  16. x2 on everything Kirk said. It is the best decision I've ever made. I was borderline diabetic pre-op, now I'm nowhere near in it.
  17. I'm in north Garland near Firewheel, and work near Midway & Plano Pkwy. I was sleeved on 3/14/13. I've hit a stall and am looking for a group that works within my schedule.
  18. As with the rest of our diets, it's doctor and/or facility specific. Mine is completely fine with me having unsweet tea, but my program coordinator says no. I listen to the person I let cut me. LoL
