I was having the same problem, but I froze the apple whey shot and it is a good cold treat. I ate it with a spoon and it works today is the first day I have been able to do the protein. So far today I have downed 42 grams of protein.

I understand how you feel. My surgery was last Thursday and I felt the same way. My biggest fear was not waking up. I hate being put to sleep. It is the only thing I can relate to death.
