  1. Hey everyone! I am due for sleeve surgery on the 29th of April. I'm on day three of my pre-op diet. The diet consists of 2 (11oz) Protein Shakes, 2 cups of plain steamed vegetables, 2 medium pieces of fruit, 20 oz of skim or 1% milk and unlimited Water per day. I at times have the worst headaches ever and feel extremely nauseous. Has anyone else experienced this? I have not cheated at all but now I understand why some people have. Even though I am drinking an adequate amount of water I still feel as if I am going to pass out sometimes. Should I talk to the doctors office?
  2. I've never thought of it that way. I tend yo like to have control because it gives me comfort and security. Lets me know things are ok and are being done right. Thanks for bringing that up. I think i watch too many medical shows and freak myself out as well.
  3. Anyone else out there nervous about anesthesia? I have my psychology consult today which is my last required appt before scheduling surgery. I am so excited for the surgery and beyond ready for the change. However the thought of anesthesia is making me nervous. Thoughts?
