I know so close; I was surprised to see someone in Manteca. That's so good, I started 3/1 also and have 18lbs left to loose. !taking forever! My surgeon is Dr. Dennen at Kaiser Fremont. Can't wait to get a date.

Omg that's great, I'm going to try the crash diet. That's awesome that your husband & daughters are following behind you. Great example! I also have 2 daughters (no husband anymore tho...lol). I follow behind my oldest daughter (7). She's a salad freak...lol...that will make it a little easier. How old are your daughter's?

How exciting, what are you doing to loose your weight, it's so hard for me. I have 18lbs to go. I've finished orientation 3/1, and met with Dr. Dennen. I'm just waiting to get within 10lbs of my goal weight which is 260. I'm at 278 now. My HW was 286. When I get close to my GW I can complete my phych eval and get a surgery date, I can't wait! Just struggeling to loose this weight. It's so nice to meet someone going to Fremont Kaiser too.

Hey Lota, I'm having my surgery at Kaiser in Fremont also. My Dr is Dr. Dennen. I'm in the beginning stages....gotta loose 26lbs....here we go... Congrats!....ure day is almost here, can't wait for mine! Let me know how everything goes. Rishida

Hey everyone, I'm 29 yrs old, 286, 5'6. I know I definitely want wls,I just keep going back & forth between gastric sleeve, and gastric bypass. Any and all thoughts are welcomed, & thanks in advance.

Isn't our God an awesome God!!! I'm so very glad you shared your story, very informative, but it also shows Gods work. Normally hearing a story like that would scare me (I'm just starting this journey) but it has given me more faith; to hear how He's healing you. : )

That's what I'm kinda afraid of, I don't want my insides rearranged. I'm 286lbs, 5'6". I'm leaning toward the sleeve.

I'm a single mom of two girls under 7. I'm nervous but have made my decision to have Wls. How did you guys choose the sleeve over bypass? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
