  1. Jen.D a call won't hurt! I love that you hope to feel better for Buffett. On June 2 I'm going to see NKOTB with Boyz II Men and I'm hoping with an April 8th date I will be feeling great. My friends and I are celebrating turning 35 with a blast from the past.
  2. Hi khloe, here's a link that talks about the FB privacy settings. I think if its closed the general public can view that the group exists and who is in it but can not read the posts. A secret group can't be searched and unless you're in it no one knows it exists. I feel more comfortable with secret than closed. I really want to join up! https://www.facebook.com/help/220336891328465 I will send you my stuff and if you decide to change it to secret will you add me? Thanks!
  3. The weight loss center I go to recommends chair exercises. There are lots of videos on YouTube. Specifically on the sparkpeople channel.
  4. If its closed people can see on your timeline that you joined. If its "secret" people can not see anything about the group existing.
  5. I'm keeping me decision to sleeve private. Is the group one that is secret? Will people be able to see I'm a member?
  6. I am nervous. I am getting excited. I was originally scheduled for bypass Nov 5 then backed out. I wasn't ready. The surgery made me so nervous I had a panic attack. Full on panic attack. However, in Feb I went back to the center, changed doctors and asked more about the sleeve. Both the doctor and the sleeve procedure seemed like a much better fit. So I am sowing my best to stay positive, not get anxious, and actually get excited? Where are you, wonder? I'm in NH my surgery will be in MA though.
  7. I hope everyone does well!!
  8. Hi ladies! I'm Michelle and I'm from NH too, though I'm in the program at Lowell General in MA. I have sleeve surgery scheduled for 4/8. Just thought I'd say hello to others from my area!
  9. I'm scheduled for April 8th with Dr. Jiser at LGH in Lowell, MA. In May I turn 35. I'm done having kiddos and its time to take care of this so I can keep up with my kids. They're 4 and 1.5 and growing up too fast. I'm hoping this surgery is the best birthday gift I could ever give myself and my family. 5'2, started at 280 before the preop diet 24 pants 2x/3x shirts (I'm ready to get rid of those x's) Praying that God will give me the courage and peace I need to get through this. I'm pretty nervous.
  10. I'm April 8th also! In Lowell, MA.
