  3. 7 weeks out. Just ate watermelon---about 3/4 c. Delicious. Hopefully, it's not too harmful in the way of carbs???
  4. Rawan and Magpie, thanks so much! I have become a bit discouraged. I've been compliant, so it seems more should've come off. I guess I need to work on my thinking---as well as my weight loss. Again, thanks!
  5. Hi, I am 6 weeks out and have lost 56 pounds(including 20 pre-op). Is this the norm? Thanks!
  6. LOL. The deed is done and it was LOVELY!!!!!!!! My husband bleached and scalded out the tub/drain beforehand to be on the safe side. All is well!!!!
  7. I'm 13 days out. Think it's ok for a tub bath?

  11. Actually, I'm not too distraught. I'm a bit amused by my antics. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.
  12. OMG---the rest of the protein I've been drinking DAILY is converted and stored as fat!?!?!?!?!? Geeze........how counterproductive could I be!!??

  14. Oh I don't take joy in hearing such-----wowser!!! I think I may puke!!! :-( Not really. :-/ I'll break it up, like you said. It'll probably go down easier!!! That's good to know!!!!
  15. I can't gulp anything. I'm 11 days out and just sipping constantly. I put 40 g in one shake and that, along with 16 g of milk protein is all I can manage. I'm struggling to get it all in this morning.
  16. I fix a protein shake every morning with 16 oz ff milk, 8 oz water. It contains 56 g. I don't do anything else until I drink it all. Takes about 2-3 hours.
  17. I'm struggling to drink the last of my shake so I thought I'd boast a bit, lol, and see if that'll motivate me for the last of it. I have 1/2 c left and I'll have 56 G protein and 24 oz ff milk and water down!!!! I'm starting to hate these things!!!!!!

I think I'll just put the tomato away for now and take your advice. It is an immediate pain and then I have several waves of pain. No fun.

I am 10 days out and can eat small amounts of yogurt and pudding. One or two sips of tomato soup causes great pain. It's much less than the thicker stuff. I don't understand.
  20. I forgot to say that yesterday and today, I'm sticking to the shakes and lo cal G2 Gatorade. Seems to settle better.
