  5. 30/30 for me. I am struggling with this probably more than anything! I will allow myself a SIP when done eating and that's it. Guzzling iced tea while eating is a hard habit to break. I still fix me a big ol' glass of tea when I eat even though I can't get but maybe that one sip in.

  9. Thanks Matthew. I also can't get much in but I have been craving it! Have no idea why since I have never been a big bread eater so I would like to at least get a bite in to make the craving, hopefully, go away.
  10. I have a true fear of bread. Don't know why. How far post op is it safe to try??????
  11. Hello! I am new to this forum and I am so excited to have found a community of people who are on the same journey as me! I am nine weeks post surgery and have lost a total of 50 pounds. This has not been an easy journey for me. For 14 days post op I could get nothing in except water and only minimal at that. I should have been rehospitalized but it was Christmas and I refused to go to the hospital! I had to work closely with my doctor and dietician to get through it and am doing much better. Eating is still a struggle for me and I find myself having to often force myself to eat and trying new foods is also a challenge. I am terrified of trying bread! However, I am still so happy that I was able to have the surgery. I know that one day all this will have been worth it. I am so ready to get my life back and become an active and more involved mother for my children. I can't wait to explore this site and get recipe ideas and other tips.
