The first time I went to the sleep study they didn't have my appointment logged into their system then the second time I went they rescheduled me because their computer system down.

I had the sleep study done at the hospital everyone was nice it's just that it's taking forever to get the results from them

Gina how are they with the whole promptness of submitting stuff to the insurance. I have been waiting 3 weeks for my sleep study results and every time I call they say they are waiting on it or that they called the sleep study place to find out what is going on. Everything was full steam ahead until now. I'm so nervous about this because my BMI is 2 notches below 40 and all my blood work came back fine so i don't have any comorbilities :-/

That's good to hear! I'm glad you had a good experience I have been waiting for my sleep study results to come in, it's been 3 weeks. They told me they are not sure what's going on and had me directly contact the sleep study people. I left them a message. I'm a little worried about it but I'm trying to be patient. So how is your weight loss and recovery? I hope you do t mind me asking. Did they remove the catheter before you woke from surgery? Or did they leave that in? I'm so nervous.

I'm sure there is a post somewhere out there about this but has anyone tries using Shakeology instead of slim fast? My nutritionalist suggested slim fast but has never heard of shakeology. I did some comparing and found shakeology to taste better and be more nutritional. Just wondering of anyone drinks this post and after surgery and if its tolerable for them?

Hi! Yes I saw my surgeon, nutritionalist, psychologist, had the EGD, had blood work and ultra sound done. I have my sleep study left and one more visit with the nutritionalist. My BMI is 38. I have fatty liver and most likely sleep apnea. I am 5'4 and weigh 226 I want this surgery sooooo much! I hope my insurance accepts me!
