  7. You look great! Awesome job
  8. Good luck ... Hope everything goes super fast for you!
  9. II was so frustrated I cried about it ... I felt like if I had just kept my mouth shut about maybe having Sleep Apnea I would have been approved a month ago but it all worked out ... Be sure to ask if they will go ahead and submit your Approval when your home study gets read
  10. I go Friday to pick up my Cpap machine but already heard back from my Insurance with approval for a surgery date of April 25th
  11. EJamiFan .... The exact same thing happened to me! After I didn't qualify for a sleep study (only the home study) my Sleep Dr. wanted me to stay over night to be "titrated" for my sleep Apnea machine ... I waited till 2 weeks for my apt. and they called me and said my insurance would only approve me to have a self pap from a company to take home myself .... I called my Dr.s office after my home study was read and they went ahead and sent my information in for approval based on the diagnosis of Apnea ... I have a BMI of 40.7 anyway. Maybe your Dr. will do the same...it only took 3 days for my home study to be read.
  12. I'm getting sleeved @ Vanderbilt April 16th
  13. I think it depends on which kind of Cigna you have ... Mine only required a 3 mth
  14. My surgery date is April 16th... I've always wondered what I would look like skinny... I think it'll take a long time to rebuild my self esteem ... ... Ive been big my whole life...Compliments make me feel awkward especially when I know I'm overweight. I can't even look in a mirror while I'm shopping even though I try to present myself as best I can ... I can't wait to be able to run a marathon and just be considered average healthy weight.
  15. April 16th for me ..... Yay!
  16. You have an awesome way of telling your journey .... A true story teller of sorts ...I am also going through the beginning stages actually on my last step (sleep study) ... I look forward to reading more of your journey, finding strength in your confidence and honesty
  17. Awesome! I agree with FallenAngel... Great hips
  18. That's such a bummer to think you have done everything you need to do and they keep making you do more
  19. Did they tell you why you need 200 hours on the Cpap machine?
