I ordered two of each! I am hopefully getting the sleeve in May. I am trying to mack a stockpile of various drinks and such. Any other suggestions. Some of this stuff is pricey!!

Nice to meet you Erin!! I am hoping for a May date. I am so happy I found a board that is more specific. I kept seeing People who were Post op and I was so jealous. I give you props for not telling people!! I had to tell my friends of course and a few other people I told at work (which I regret). I was supposed to have been operated on. However, it was so hard to get a psyc eval!! I really don't mind though. I could go sooner. However, I am a teacher and the state tests are at the end of April. That is great you are working on your binge eating...we are similar! The whole grazing repeatedly sounds more like me. Also something to think about post op.... Have you looked at shakes, bars, vitamins?? I think fears are normal!! I just actually switched from getting a band to getting sleeved...so I am def nervous and fearful of the whole experience. I have been reading all stories just like that. I really wish I would have thought about this before. I wasted all that time researching the band!

I just joined this group! Since July 2012 I have been taking all the steps in order to get a lapband. After asking my doctor's office if I can change from a band to a sleeve and being told that it would have to be ABSOLUTELY medically necessary I decided to get a sleeve. It was a huge deal deciding on the band and even a bigger one deciding on the sleeve. Hoping to get a date for May. Any people in the same situation I am. I feel like joining this group is making it official. lol I always look at boards, However, I never actually pictured myself writing on one.
