  1. Maybe I can help you out a little. My friend made up a dressing when she did this pre op diet and its pretty good. Balsamic vinegar, some water, garlic powder, pepper and equal. I like balsamic vinegar, so I'm happy.
  2. Thank you for that! It sounds delicious! Going to make this as soon as I can.
  3. I heard in Weight Watchers years ago that when you cook at a certain degree the healthy goes away. Not sure if its true or not.
  4. I LOVE those! Do you make yours with olive oil? That and Kosher salt is how I've made it, but I'd love to know if you can forget the oil. Healthier.
  5. No problem. And no, I haven't had that experience with them. I just PM you.
  6. I'm allowed to have I Can't Believe it's Not Butter spray, so I use that on brocolli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, aparagus, etc. I'm lucky that I LOVE veggies. I'm not allowed salad dressing, so I made one that my friend that went through the surgery made up - balsalmic vinegar, a little water, some garlic powder, pepper and non sugar sweetener. It's actually good! I got McDonalds Ranch Bacon grilled chicken salad the other day bc my family was having fast food, took everything off except the chicken and greens and put the dressing on it. YUM!
  7. You bet! The more the merrier!
  8. I feel your pain. I've been on my pre op diet for 1 week and today I cheated with about 1/4 cup of homemade salsa and then tonight my family got fast food and I had 4 French fries! I can't believe I ate carbs! Today was rough. We just have to remember we only have 1 more week. 1 more! We CAN do this! We have to. We've committed ourselves to change. Lets start now!
  9. Inland empire here. Getting sleeved next week in Vegas as a self pay. Know 3 people that went to this doctor and all went great. Feel free to talk to me if you have questions.
  10. The fat girl in me is thrilled with this new info! So scary tho. So, I have a question. It seems like there are a lot of people that barely go over and mess up just a tiny bit and gain weight. The fat me can get away with so much that it really scares me to think I might splurge on too many blueberries and gain 2 lbs!
  11. I'm getting sleeved next week. I'm wondering if after all this time, if you go to the movies can you tolerate a tiny or little amount of popcorn? Is there any indulging at all? I don't mean sitting down and eating a whole pint of ice cream. I'm talking having 2 cookies or a cup of popcorn at the movies. Not every day. Anyone out there with answers?
  12. Seriously, so funny! When is your surgery date?
  13. Alright, ya'll. 1 week from today we will all be sleeved and on our way to our new, healthy life! Woo hoo!
  14. You won't be alone. Check in here and we will help you through it. Feel free to PM me.
  15. Lets start this thread up again! What is your BMI? And where are you having your procedure? I'm having mine in Vegas, but I live in Southern California.
  16. What day are you having your surgery?
