My tummy is making a lot of gurgling noises still and I'm still a little sore when transitioning from sitting and standing. I'm not doing well with fluids or Proteins I wasn't one to drink much before surgery and its been hard to get in the routine to drink constantly. It's not that its painful to drink its just that mentally I'm not thirsty. I had scheduled 2!weeks off work but feel I'm doing pretty well now and Kay return a week early.

I was told one Popsicle is quality to two ounces of Fluid.

Ok ill take your advice and start the broth today.

I haven't had any chicken broth yet, I have several different brands to try so I really need to push myself to eat it.

I'm not sure who your surgeon or nutritionalist is but I called mine today and was told I could use PB2 or regular Peanut Butter in the Protein Drink to make it taste better she also said I could use some fruit in it. I'm afraid to eat any Soup yet but I am allowed if I want. I think I may try something tonight. What state are you in? I'm I'm Northern California.

Hi Angel, it does appear we got sleeved on Monday my tummy is a little better but I just took a trip to the store for some Popsicles and had to take a pain pill once I got home. I'm barely getting 20 ounces of liquid a day. It's just so hard to hit 48 when you feel so full all the time.

I'm feeling a little better today. Was just able to drink a little bit of a premier Protein shake mixed with PB2 powder and I seem to be tolerating it. So I guess you could say today is much better than Tuesday. I think in a few more days ill feel much better than today. Good luck on your upcoming surgery. I am sure all will be done for you. Don't be scared.

I'm only 3 days out so from what I read I should feel better In a few days. The thought of eating anything makes me queasy

I'm glad yours was mine has had a turn for the worse. Major nausea, throwing up stomach joke etc. all I want to do is go home ;-(

I cried for hours which really made my new tummy ache. It was very difficult especially only having my bf here all my family is in ohio and We live in Cali. I'm mad at the hospital but very thankful that I do not have a leak.

Yes it is truly a blessing. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how I had a leak, but I felt so great. The time I've been in the hospital yesterday for surgery and today were really pain free thank god!

So the radiologists at this hospital don't know how to read an x ray. My surgeon just came in to advise me there is NO leak. Praise The Lord.

It's confirmed I have a leak. I want everyone to know this can happen to anyone. I did everything right before and after and still got one day 2. Please keep praying for me.

Thanks guys. I just don't understand I feel fine. Im so scared ill update you all in an hour after my next leak test.

Nurse not Iraq lol stupid spell check

Just when I thought everything was going great i had the swallow test, first they said it was great and gave me some water. 10 mon later the Iraq came in and told me there may be a small leak that I have to go back in 2 hours for another test. I am freaking out they won't even tell me what happens of it is a leak which scares me even more. Please pray for me

I am in the hospital surgery was 4 pm yesterday and I was recovery until 8 pm my surgery has been so easy that I almost don't believe I had it lol I had a Nausea patch placed behind my ear before surgery and have not felt nauseas yet. I'm a little tender when I get up or lay down but considering the facts this is nothing, I haven't had food since Friday or a drink since Sunday and its not nearly as bad as I thought :-) I wish everyone has had the experience I have.

I will check in tomorrow after surgery

Thank you. I was supposed to have surgery on the 24th but they called me Thursday morning and said they needed to reschedule it for Monday.
