  1. So tomorrow is exactly one month post surgery for me. Starting weight 248, day of surgery, 235, today 211. Feeling great :-) no complications yet.
  2. It's cool I'm done with this site all you people do is jump on new posters. Good luck
  3. Well being there are only 2 active posters and yourself the words girls I think it's safe to say you were talking to me.
  4. I guess because there are so many food addicts Here People who don't have any post op complications and have a dr who advises them of something different that your doctors, that must automatically mean we shouldn't advise on how our journey is going.
  5. Ya you should be very confused since you no jack **** about me lol nor do you know the conversations I've had with my Dr today lol like I said good day to ya.
  6. Angel I'm 1 week out today too and I too am starving I found some threads where other posters said that they were put on soft foods mushies the day after they were released. Not all doctors give the same diet rules. I too tried a scrambled egg and ate 1/3 of it and didn't have a problem I also ate a small piece of Cracker Barrel cheddar cheese and it was delicious lol were not all the same so don't take ppl criticizing you too hard. Just let your doctor know your struggling and see if they can suggest anything else you can try. Good luck with everything
  7. I was April 15th as well. How are all of you feeling a week out?
  8. How are all you feeling? What is your day like? I'm feeling really well for the most part. Hating that I can't eat but I knew goi g in I'd feel this way for a while. Is anyone going back to work Monday or already gone back?
  9. I doubt that they will want you to dance after surgery, I know they will however make you walk 3 hours after surgery and every few hours after. Trust me when I say you will not be worried about what anyone thinks those next 2 days. And you can put on sweats and a t shirt if you'd feel more comfortable.
  10. I'm sorry to hear that but it will happen before you know it. I've lost 10lbs since surgery. I jut can't even believe I went thru with this procedure lol I'm such a wimp when it comes to pain so I've gotten extremely lucky not to have much of it.
  11. Jut wanted to update now that I am post surgery. I was sleeved on the 15th (Monday) released 18th. And have been feeling great. The only issue I'm having is head hunger I feel so well that my brain is trying to convince me I can eat :-) however I do know better and am sticking to the full liquids.
  12. Thank you I was worried maybe I was pushing it but really I'm not even consuming 1 1/2 cups daily of all foods combined
  13. How much are you guys able to consume at one time? I've been portioning out 1/4 cup of broth, yogurt, soup etc but about 40 min later I feel like I want to eat again ;-(
  14. I'm with you on the Protein shakes I haven't gotten an entire one down yet. All the different types i have tried and still can't force myself to drink it.
  15. I take all gummy Vitamins and my surgeon only said to make sure I chew them up really well before swallowing. I use the multivites Gummies and the only thing they don't have in them compared to Flinstones complete is Iron. I was just sleeved on Monday and don't have any issues taking them. Are any of you I'm northern Cali? I found a store that carries them and other Calcium chews and they are very reasonably priced. I attached a picture for you the chews were 2.99 and the others were 5.99 a bottle
