  1. I have the same sensation in the morning. It's no painful, just obvious. I think it may be gas but no big burps happen. It seems to go away by noon.
  2. I also have had the sour cravings. I have been putting capers in everything and just eating them straight from the jar. Also putting vinegar in V8 juice.
  3. I am 2 weeks after surgery and starting soft foods per the doc's okay. The deal is, I have no appetite, I'll get a little hungry, but nothing really sounds good so I'll have a few spoonfuls of mashed potatoes or some beans and then I am done. I've had a few cravings, not so much for specific foods, but tastes - ike sour, or textures - like creamy. I'll have something to answer those cravings and then I'm over it and not hungry. This is a very new sensation for me and it's a little scary, but good - right? Anyone having the same feelings?
  4. I am two weeks out and notihng tastes that great. Foods that I used to crave now hold little interest. It's a new feeling to not care about food, a little scary, but overall I'm okay with it.
  5. I tried My Fit Foods before surgery and found the food very tasty, and very fresh. I think the freshness was the best part, it's prepared food, but it doesn't taste pre-made like a TV dinner or even stuff from the deli. I am only on pureed foods, but as soon as I am back on solid food I plan on using MFF for some meals.
  6. I am scheduled for February 25th. Iam beginning to get nervous, and excited. The Pre-op diet is not that bad but I am having trouble not smoking.
