I had surgery on 03/14/13 and everyone have been telling me that I'm slimming down except I just can't see it. I know I do feel better with the exception of lower back pain. Well I finally got on the scale today for the first time since surgery and my motivation has been renewed:) I've lost 55 plus lbs:)

I'm on a low carb pre-op diet and my date is 03/14/2013.... I check in the hospital in Juarez Mexico on 03/13/2013. I was super excited, but now I am super nervous and excited!!!!! I will update on the same or next day after surgery:)

This is great news. Just to hear of your experience eases my mind. I'm glad that your surgery went well. Did the restaurant next door and the hospital cafeterias take U.S. Dollars ?

Kimkamara where in Mexico will you be going? I'm scheduled that day also in Juarez.

How was your experience at Star Medica in Juarez? Does the cafeteria accept U.S. Dollars? What type of food do they serve? Im asking because my mom will be traveling with me. Were there any safety concerns?

My surgery pre op labs is March 13th and surgery is March 14th in Juarez.
