I was sleeved on 12/19/2012 and down 120 lbs. I feel so happy, so proud, and so much healthier.

I'm annoyed that they're available at BestBuy and that some people have already received theirs from Amazon... I pre-ordered (and paid) in March and am showing an expected date of May 17th. I guess this item is a lot more popular than I thought. I had figured that by pre-ordering/paying in March I'd receive it the instant it was finally released. I sure hope it turns out to be worth the wait.

I got an email today from FitBit saying that it's now shipping... I haven't heard anything from Amazon yet, but I guess it's now available.

I preordered a long time ago through Amazon. When I ordered the drop date was 5/1. However, I received an email saying that it had been changed to 5/15. It still shows that as a ship date. However, Amazon now shows it as out of stock... I am hoping there aren't problems that are causing the delays.

Dr. Awad was my surgeon. I was sleeved on 12/19/2012 and am down 111 lbs. so far. I think he and his staff are really great. His office manager is one of his sucessful cases -- she's not only a great walking billboard, she's also a really wonderful and helpful lady. I have nothing but the highest regard for Dr. Awad and his whole team. in fact, I drove about five hours to have him be my surgeon after I saw him in a documentary about weight (and researched him). I was sleeved on 12/19 and this has been probably the hardest aspect for me. What I have found is that I have to physically move my drink away from me while I'm eating. Actually, I move it ahead of time and don't move it back until I've been finished eating for half an hour or so. It's also tricky when I'm out with friends... I try to just not order a drink or move it away from me.
